Arrived in the city late night and after checking into our Airbnb, we decided to find a place that was open for some good grub. It was close to 11pm and a lot of places were closed or too expensive but luckily we were able to fnd this place tucked in a side street from the main road.
They have a pretty big menu with a variety of plates and sandwiches to choose from. Because we hadn't eaten in almost 12 hours, the beau and I were starving. I had the #35, Plato doner kebab especial tawakal for €7,00 and he had #34, Plato doner kebab con huevo for €6,50. My plate comes with bread (pita), salad, chicken (or beef) kebab, 1 falafel, fries, rice and a big square piece of cheese (not sure what kind it was but very similar to goat cheese). His plate came with bread (pita), salad, beef kebab (or chicken), rice (or fries) and two Sunnyside up eggs. They also drizzle some of their white and red sweet sauce like most doner dishes.
Both of our giant plates filled with food were fantastic! I didn't think we were going to be able to finish it all but we literally cleaned our plates! The man working behind the counter spoke enough English to help us when ordering and was a pleasant man. The food is deliciois, the price is just right and the portions are big! We couldn't have asked for a better late night meal in Madrid! read more
