BREAD
The bread? Yes. The bread. Specifically, the sliced stromboli (one with meat and cheese). It will change your life...You've been warned!!
(Btw I am in LOVE with the ball chandelier in the first room - gorg.)
SPAGHETTI SPAGHETTI SPAGHETTI
Came here once for Restaurant Week and I was blown away by the spaghetti. And THIS is the reason why I came back.. Why? What's so special? I'll tell you.
- First, it's deceptively small. Thanks, "plating"... It's more than you think.
- Secondly, that SAWCE... oh MAMMA MIA. That sauce is heaven. It's thick, it has some oomph, and clings tighter to those noodles than a kid that grabs your ankles and won't let go. Yea. That tight.
- PROTIP: Mix in that chilled creme fraiche and that chunky tomato reduction they give you into the pasta... UGH! the result? Probably one of the BEST bites of food ever had in my life.... so good.
BRAISED SHORT RIBS
Pretty good. Portion could be bigger, but it's an app for a reason. Meat was SUPER TENDER. Goes really well with the corn.
Phenomenal table-side service. Well-mannered and friendly staff.
FOIS GRAS RAVIOLI
If you hadn't told me there was fois gras in this, I wouldn't have been able to tell. But it was satisfying. The filling is very creamy with a subtle hint of something fatty (that's the fois gras).
Definitely make a reservation ahead of time, enjoy!
