As authentic as it gets, the Grandmaster Loukas has a passion for Wing Chun, that exudes in his…read moreguidance and diverse training. His background is extensive, with direct links to Yip Man, Wong Shun-Leung, Nino Bernardo (Basement London) and Bruce Lee. Training is in Wing Chun and Kali, and he has been delivering this for 30-years, that's more real-life training experience than most of the clubs in the county etc together! I looked for many schools, and was very lucky to find this authentic school. To put this into perspective I travel more than an hour each way to get to this training school, passing others along the way, and I've been doing this for quite a while...... Training, what you put in, is what you get out. It is real training, not a PPT, not Pilates but martial arts skills that is delivered efficiently and very 'hands-on' as practical training There is so much nonsense and rubbish about these days, that have lost the real concept of Wing Chun, and the lineage through Ip Man, Nino Bernardo and Wong Shun-Leung is truly special. If you are looking for Wing Chun, then go to Loukas, as this lineage is the best I've seen... Look no further, seriously go here if you want the 'good stuff'. Everyone gets a warm welcome from everyone there.... PS 'the secret techniques are not available online - but developed through authentic guidance and skills'

For El D…read more... Interesting mixture of stories and claims. There are plenty of them for each of us all the way back through Nino and Basement to Wong. I don't think anyone would look entirely golden if we took a complete view. You'd never get one in any case, there are things I've heard or seen both positive and negative that will stay with just me out of respect for those involved be they senior or junior. Others are the same. "I'm 50% good, 50% bad, take the good" - you may know where that comes from but that isn't what you're doing here for whatever reason. Completing the system with Nino varied a bit on a per student basis, there are traditions to respect for example. The forms themselves have always been somewhat malleable - compare Wong, Guy, Mark, Lemmy, Franco, Nino and Loukas. You know them perhaps? Who has "the" form? The answer is in their hands and in spite of variance, they were/are all pretty good ;) But if we're talking Loukas specifically, there's a letter from Nino that contains the truth. I was there (maybe you too?) when it was presented openly at the Basement. I guess you might've seen it later, though we don't much shout about that stuff, act of ego. Punching students to make a point? Sure but what point? Are you over-confident, arrogant, too aggressive not paying attention to your centre line, not taking it seriously, maybe even vicious because you've gotten angry? Teaching is done both verbally and physically and you'd see similar play throughout our family tree. We're honest about what it takes "for real". Ask Nino about his wrist. What would he say of Wong do you think? Every student is different, no single method of teaching is effective but a teacher must try regardless to figure out what works and doesn't. When they look in the mirror they aren't entirely happy with how they went about their task at all times. How could they be? If you've tried it, you'll know if you're honest with yourself. You judge a school by its students not the teacher and if you looked around the schools in their current generation, I think you'd see more good than bad. Only way to know though is to see it for yourself. When did you attend last? With what level of experience would you be judging? "If you wait by the river long enough, the bodies of your enemies will float by." "Retribution" the originating email address translates to. You have an axe to grind it would appear. To what end? No real name, so an eye cannot be cast over your history. How would it look? Why hide? I probably spent time with you, I'm not going to judge, it doesn't matter that much in the grand scheme of things. We've all surely got better things to do, right? My scoring simply balances yours. I'd always mark 3 or so out of 5 because nothing is perfect ever.
