First of all, my husband and I were living in Ellensburg when we hired her to do our engagement and wedding photos. She is based out of Bellevue. Not only did she drive all the way over the mountains to do our engagement photos at no charge, she even followed us out into the Roslyn wilderness to hike around to get our pictures in the woods where we wanted them. All of this, while in a leg cast! We tried to let her take it easy, but she insisted she was just fine! She hobbled up hills and over logs all to get us the best pictures and she had the best sense of humor and attitude about it! Then, on our wedding day (which was in Leavenworth so again she had to travel quite a ways), she was even more amazing. Her and her husband had to put up with some pretty obnoxious groomsmen and she just laughed and stayed patient. She was fun, positive, and simply wonderful. She was never in any way bossy or demanding, she listened to what we wanted and helped to get those pictures for us while smiling and having a good time. I am pleased with their high-quality work and highly recommend Lifelong! The first session was outdoors, at a Bothell area park, a venue selected/suggested by Dawn. My daughter used four outfits; Dawn & Sue were patient and inspirational toward her. I appreciate how easy it was for M. to relax in front of the camera with both Dawn and Sue guiding her poses. They are personable thus making it easier for the subject to open up and feel confident in front of the camera. Both photographers have an exceptional "eye" for scenery options, and use natural lighting options in an optimum manner. Importantly we were not rushed, and I was allowed glimpses of the portrait captures. This was reassuring and exciting to me, allowing me to preview the outcome. We were included in the session decisions at appropriate times. For the second session M. was invited to their spacious studio in Mukilteo. We agreed upon a Makeup/Hair Artist for this session. This site has a spacious dressing room area, complete with cosmetology chairs/counters. M. is an aspiring entertainment industry candidate, and a current dancer. Our vision was to obtain workable head and body shots, for industry purposes. Dawn and Sue were incredible with regard to assisting M. toward relaxing in front of the camera, and I am amazed with the wonderful shots captured! Positive comments are flooding in, including comparison of certain shots to Vogue or similar magazines. These experts quickly put sneak peek shots onto facebook, allowing patrons a nearly immediate glimpse of the session. This is followed by access to a secure site, where the customer can view massive images and make purchase decisions. I highly recommend Lifelong Photography! Our experience is reflective of a Senior shoot, or model head/body shoot. I have viewed their family and child images, which are also impressive.

My fiancé and I started our search for the best photographer pretty early on in our wedding planning process. Chris came highly recommend by a co worker of mine and immediately after seeing Chris' work and meeting with him over a beer, we knew he was the best fit for us...and boy did he blow our expectations out of the water! We decided to do an engagement session with him, and we had a blast! We appreciated his calm yet direct cues when we just didn't know what to do with our hands! He has an incredible eye and we trusted him fully to guide us around and tell us what to do and the end product was magic! So when it came time for our wedding day, we had complete faith he would make us look our best and get us the best photos. We knew everyone in our family and bridal party would feel at ease with Chris as well, and they all instantly realized why we had hired him! Chris is a ninja with the camera, you don't even notice he's there sometimes. We were able to just relax, be ourselves and enjoy our day and he blended in seamlessly. But also kept us smiling with his sense of humor and positive presence! A couple days after the wedding Chris delivered 40+ sneak peak photos! When we received our full gallery, we felt like we were truly re living the best day of our lives through the photos. The day literally came alive through each carefully selected and edited image.
