It's a Friday afternoon so average crowd with some sitting at the tables with baked goods and coffee and many take-out. The staff are bilingual so were quickly able to serve me. I ordered an almond crossaint and a latte with almond milk. I paid and sat down at a table. The food came quickly. The almond crossaint was flatlet and filled with goodness of almond paste and not too sweet. The latter was balanced slightly sweet from the almond milk. Everything was delicious... I was able to sit for about an hour without interruptions though the noise level changes pending on coming & going of customers. I definitely will come back and recommend this place!!!

The guy picked his nose while talking on the phone taking an order, lifted up his shirt to look at his abs in the mirror (amazing abs I must say) then he handled pastries with no gloves and licked his fingers afterward. I had just finished eating something and it made me think that if he does that with clients at the store, what can I expect when no one is looking. I just wouldn't go there to eat. For coffee? Maybe.

In a city that it's famous for its steaks, "carne asada", and goat bbq (cabrito), it comes as a…read moreshocker that my first food instinct when Im here is to have a piece of cake. Perhaps this is a very well known fact for the locals or an outspoken secret, but boy you are in for an incredible sweet treat if you come here. First this is not a fancy place, is completely casual. I guess only locals come here. its not a big place, so it get full very easily. if tou come here during afternoons, its very possible that you will have to wait to be seated. The place is ideal for coffee with friends and endless chats. Conversely to a typical starbucks, the furniture it's not really for working long hours. They are very comfy and fluffy, but not really good for ergonomics with a computer. The place have a small staff, well trained and they offer a very friendly service. above your average coffee place for sure, but not an incredible service neither. They offer a very wide selection of savory items. Most of them snacks and finger food (wings, molletes, crudités) with the occasional sandwich, panini and burger. They also have a breakfast menu es with eggs, enchiladas, etc. The menu also has plenty smoothies options, coffee and teas. But truth to be told, if you are very hungry you probably will find better savory alternatives of the same food items somewhere else. However, the department where the really excel is in the cake business!! Although I haven't sampled all of what they have to offer, the ones I have tried are truly exceptional. I mean, really good, moist, not dry and flavorful bread, whit fillings full of textures, perfectly sweet but not too sweet frostings! I personally vouch for the pistachio and the pecan caramel cake. They also offer a few selections of cheese cakes and brownies. Keep in mind that the portions by slice are huge. So you are probably find asking for small size. If you like the cake you can order a full cake to go or a smaller version for a smaller group in advance. Why they don't get five stars? Just to keep it consistent with my other reviews, but they have 5 stars in my book for sure
