Yesterday I opened my front door to one of your guys, (first words I quote from the ring doorbell recording) "Have you been to the toilet just now, because your shit and paper is flooding next doors yard". No introduction, no explanation, these were his opening words. Then said something in a garbled manner about United Utilities to sort it out as it was a shared drain issue as he ran back to his van. Left me stood on the doorstep wondering what the hell was going on?!. The rudeness was astounding. To top it off the guy then knocked on the door to demand I apologise for closing the door on him and said I was rude and "did I know what he was doing and that I had lost the argument" What argument,?, I have no idea what this persons issue was. Absolutely disgusting behavior. He was apparently visiting and 'clearing' Nextdoor neighbours blocked sewage drain , as my neighbour explained. Unfortunately your guy failed to clear their sewage drain but then lied about the flow and reasons for what was happening, a fact later found out. Ours was not the issue, the y join with nextdoor neighbours was from where they had building work done and an extra toilet installed and how that interfaced, but interestingly above where your guy had worked and claimed he had cleared?! I know this as later United Utilities pleasantly explained what was really happening, and showed camera footage of the pipe inspection, and worked on the same pipe work via the same access as your guy, but to complete the job properly! I can supply the door video footage with sound to prove what your guys approach and manner is like. Some training on pleasant customer communication would not go amiss with this person. A very weird experience.
