All this and we received some kimchi banchan! We were not expecting a feast! The wonton soup was warm and flavorful with plump wontons and bamboo shoots, and peas...just so good! What I so appreciated about the food was that nothing was coated in a heavy sauce for the sake of coating things in a sauce. At Little China the food is the main character and that's what you're going to enjoy. The almond chicken was didn't skimp on the almonds. The sweet & sour pork was so crispy and the batter didn't get soggy in the sauce, just so perfectly balanced. The pork fried rice, HEAVEN!!! Cons: -Poor attention to details. The wife got a fork with a piece of food stuck to it, which means it wasn't washed properly. We also only got one knife between the two of us. We ended up sharing the knife rather than asking for a second one. -Once the food was served to us, the server did not come around to check up on us. -Maybe it was meant to be served this way, but the scrambled eggs were overcooked. Despite some flaws, I would still recommend this place. Not going to penalize a place for mistakes that most customers probably wouldn't even notice or experience themselves. For the price point and quality of the food, this place is damn good.

Fu Sing isn't quite as good as Tin Sing but it's as close as we're ever going to get again so I'm happy the bugs in the system have been worked out and I can order without aggravation. Some other specialties that were popular with the Gardena crowd were the steamed pork and the pork egg rolls which are like taking a stroll along memory lane. Hopefully they'll consider expanding into a full service restaurant rather than remaining a take out shop to bring back the Gardena experience that so many of my friends, family, and yes, even enemies enjoyed growing up.

I was genuinely excited to eat, but while I was going through the meal, I discovered what appeared to be a baby roach on my chicken. At first, I hoped it might've been a fly that landed in the food, but after a closer look, it was clearly a roach. That was extremely disappointing. I used to vouch for this place and considered it one of my favorites. Seeing something like this points to serious cleanliness and maintenance issues. As someone who was once a frequent customer, this experience was genuinely saddening. I didn't go the extreme length to report this business but I suggest do be precautious.
