I put down $900.I started calling Eve and Ember Catering during the second week in March 2026, to start planning moreso for the event, and left messages, once Kay picked up the phone gave a lie that she was in a doctors appointment and stated she would call the next day. NO CALL. I called the for three days in a row, only for a text message stating out of town for an event will connect next day. These people are THIEVES, LIARS, and SCAMMERS. I filed a dispute with my credit card company. STAY AWAY!! Please read the review prior to mine, they did the same thing to that person.

And worst of all, they never provided the service and cancelled last minute with a promise of a full refund and ended up ghosting us in all forms of communication. I hope their reasoning for the emergent last minute cancellation was true and I send my prayers to them still out of the kindness of my heart; but if it was a lie and scam all along, then shame on them for speaking ill of their family members.

It consisisted of homemade curry with chicken, eggplant and red peppers, topped with bronw rice, cilantro and hugarian pepper (NOT hot!) as the entree, along with a large salad of lentils, carrot, red nion (optional), arugula and sprouts. I'm not an arugula fan, but with everything else in the salad, I didn't notice it. Dessert: semolina flour cookie with figs and nuts. I couldn't eat it all, even though I bought the small size. Along with the usual bagels, coffee, fruit salad, etc. the additional pastries they baked were delicious and the extra sides like sesame noodle salad, tuna and egg salad were wows. Presentation was gorgeous!! Her servers were easy to work with and extremely accommodating. We received lots of compliments from our family and friends. None of us live anywhere near Gowanda and we had not been in the theater in over 30 years. How was this going to work? Erin drove from Springville to Gowanda, met with the theater staff, and came up with a great layout for the reception. The food was fantastic and the guests loved it! The food display was spectacular. Communication with Erin went very smoothly despite my being in Seattle with a 3 hour time difference. Terrific food and great, responsive service--what more could you ask for?! We would definitely use Edible Crush again!
