Tasteful Temptations was a fantastic company to work with! 100% of my communication was with Sara, who was fast with her responses, which was very important to me, since I was planning a Coastal Georgia wedding from San Diego. Tasteful supplied food for our rehearsal dinner and wedding reception, both of which were great. My husband and I didn't really have any idea what we wanted to serve at our wedding, but Sara helped us put together an amazing menu! We received compliments on the food all night long, both nights. We had tomato chicken and pulled pork for our rehearsal, and crab cakes, beef tenderloin, and breaded chicken for our reception. The event staff both nights were great, really went above and beyond for us. They even grabbed a photobooth photo at the start of the night, which I love!! Highly highly highly recommend!!! Tasteful Temptations catered our rehearsal dinner and wedding reception and I could not have been more pleased. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. The food was out of this world good. People never seem to comment on wedding food but we had multiple guest talk about how amazing the food was prepared by Brian and his staff. I highly recommend Shrimp and Grits if you use Tasteful Temptations. They were the best I've ever had. We also did a pasta bar which was a hit and sliders. The rehearsal dinner we had steak and parmesan crusted chicken and WOW was it good! This is hands down the best caterer on the Island. We had our company Christmas party catered this year by Tasteful Temptations. Charles was very professional and made our house smell delicious with his food. We had the Shrimp and Grits Coastal Shrimp Sautéed in Butter and Garlic served with Stone Ground Grits and garnished with Creamy Stone Ground Grits garnished with Roasted Corn Sauce, Shredded Cheddar Cheese, Crumbled Apple Wood Smoked Bacon, Diced Red Tomato, and Sliced Scallions. Herb Crusted Beef Tenderloin with Baby Greens and Horse Radish Cream on Freshly Baked Yeast Roll. Hand Breaded Chicken Tender with Honey Mustard, Ranch and BBQ Sauces. Herb Roasted Red Bliss Potatoes Vegetable Medley tossed in Butter and Herbs. Assorted Miniature Desserts Pecan Tarts with Fresh Whipped Cream Apple Crisps with Fresh Whipped Cream Pumpkin Swirl Cheese Cakes with Fresh Whipped Cream Sweet Potato Tarts with Fresh Whipped Cream. The food was great. The service is expensive for what you get. I enjoyed the fact that they set up tables and table cloths , however they used our kitchen and not there own grills. They had a lack of communication in the whole wedding process, every time that I sent an email to ask a question it would take sometimes up to two weeks to get a response and it seemed like no one answers the phone when I would call. I ended up having even more communication issues at my reception when I asked one of the waitresses what they are doing with the leftover food since I paid for 53 and we had 43 people show and she never got back to me, then next thing I see they had just tossed it all. When I spoke to the manager Tim about the issue and told him the waitress that never got back to me, the waitress started freaking out on me. I could not beLieve this was how they treated me as the. Bride who spent 3200.00 with them. Another thing that one of my guest noticed was the bartender Tim had a tip jar out at the reception, but when the owner showed up he hid the tip jar. The owner Brian did come in and cool the waters with me. Although this company did have bad service, there food was amazing, many of my guest told me how delicious it is. If I could go back and do it all over again, I would probably not use this company for my wedding catering because when you plan a destination wedding there needs to be more communication also they tacked on random charges throughout the process like a third party cake fee......I did not go through them for my cake so they should not just tack on cost that have nothing to do with the catering. I hope this review helps other brides. Also if you are looking for a wedding cake in this area try Holloway's Bakery they were great and if you are planning a beach reception and need tables and chairs rent all party shop would be the way to go.
