Went on a Saturday and was good timing because they serve lechon by the pound on the weekends. Pretty good lechon. It was $23 per pound. Already preportioned in a to go box waiting under the heat lamp. Skin was thin and crispy. The meat was yummy and well seasoned. Also tried their Pancit Bam I, which is first time for me. I'd compare it to my aunt's home cooked Pancit. It had a mix of sotanghon (glass noodles) and miki (egg noodles). They did not skimp on ingredients. It has lots of fried pork chunks, slices of fish balls and some Chinese sausage slices. This is a non dry Pancit as every noodle was coated with dark reddish brown sauce that's both sweet and salty. A bit to oily for me but it was pretty good. Reasonable price for the portion they give you They also have chicharons in paper bags that are one of the better chicharons I've had. Not too fatty because it had a good proportion of fat, meat and skin. Also not too salty. They have little chicken empanadas they call empanadas. Yummy filling in a crispy fried dough. I like how the dough is not too thick. I would skip the Lomi. It's the only one that was just ok. It was about bland. Generous portion though. Price is reasonable for the amount of food. The restaurant is to go only but they offer their dining room for private events. Small place with huge menu. They also cater.

We are lucky enough to have a baby shower and the one thing I asked for was Filipino food! My cousin had used tastebud's for her son's first birthday so I knew the food was going to be amazing! Michelle, the contact/point person was so wonderful to work with. Easy to communicate with, professional and very responsive via email, text and phone. We chose partial catering and the "barkada" package with an additional purchase of a large cebu lechon! It not only included the most amazing delicious Filipino foods such as sisig, kaldereta, lumpia but also wonderful settup, beautiful white linens and colored accents to perfect match our baby shower theme and easy breakdown! Don't hesitate to use them for your next event!

No public restrooms. Takeout orders only... large catering business. If you want lechon, you will need to order ahead of time. No desserts. We ordered a la carte to go... so the portions are much larger than a plate. The Garlic Rice ($10.95) was really flavorful and did not need anything to enhance it. The Kare Kare ($30.95) is really lacking in flavor.  There is a peanut aroma, but not the flavor.   Note there are plenty of veggies (cut green beans, eggplant and shanghai bok choy) along with some honey comb tripe and of course oxtail.  There is a side of Bagoong monamon (fish paste) to help add a bit of seasoning to the kare kare.  It does enhance the flavor.  Please do not waste the kara kare sauce, it will go really well with the garlic rice. Pork Adobo ($17.95) very flavorful.  You get A LOT of pork with very little sauce, so that's pretty good, unless you love Adobo sauce.  The pork is tender and pretty lean as Adobo goes.  Note there are bay leaves in the dish, so please be careful and dig them out before eating.  The aroma is quite intoxicating.

Malnourished Lechon!!!! We paid over $300 for this small Lechon. Terrible!

We paid over$300 for this malnourished lechon. The skin wasn't crispy. It was gummy. The meat itself was super dry! It was terrible! How can they sell this?

I bought a whole lechon (small) worth $350. Unfortunately its not a whole lechon. The belly part is gone. If this is worth that much they should be honest enough to give us a whole lechon.

I'm sad that i only have one little picture, which doesn't even show everything we ordered. I ordered catering trays for my baby shower, and the food was all delicious. Also, i paid extra to have everything delivered, and the person that delivered was so nice and told me how to handle the food. We had: Pancit Miki Bihon Lumpia Shanghai Rice Lechon Kawali Bbq Chicken Bbq pork Bangus Sisig Fish Fillet Escabeche Chopsuey (seafood only) Everyone commented on how good the food was. Special shout out to: the pancit miki bihon, bangus sisis, bbq pork, but everything was really good. We had plenty of leftovers, and mostly everyone took something home for a second meal. Thank you, Tastebuds!

2 lbs of lechon??? Ordered and got 2lbs with the sauce making it 2 lbs. without the sauce its only 1lb. What a ripoff

Ordered 2lbs of lechon. It was 2lbs because they put the sauce in the box. Remove the sauce out of the box it only weighed 1lb. What a ripoff shady business buyer beware!!!

I found this place on TikTok and decided to give it a try--and I'm so glad we did! They have their own parking, which is already a plus. As soon as we walked in, I loved the ambiance and the interior--it felt warm and inviting. When I looked at the menu, everything sounded so delicious that it was hard to choose. For appetizers, we ordered the chicharon bulaklak and squid balls--both were amazing, especially when dipped in vinegar. For our main dishes, we had nilagang baka, and the broth and meat were incredibly flavorful and comforting. The garlic fried rice was perfect, and the chicken inasal was absolutely delicious--marinated so well and cooked just right. We also ordered halang-halang na manok and ginatang crispy pata to go, and I can't wait to enjoy them at home. To top it all off, the server gave us free leche flan, which was such a sweet and thoughtful gesture. Overall, we had a wonderful experience, and I will definitely come back!

We ordered a couple of silog dishes along with the sizzling chicken sisig. Everything paired perfectly with their garlic fried rice, which was honestly one of the highlights of the meal. The sizzling chicken sisig was packed with flavor, and the portions were definitely enough to share or take leftovers home. Service was friendly and welcoming, and the staff made us feel right at home. I also noticed two different families order the lechon kawali and kare-kare, and both said those are their favorite dishes here -- definitely taking that as a recommendation for next time. Looking forward to coming back and trying more from the menu!

I ordered the BBQ chicken, BBQ pork, and pork adobo, and all were really enjoyable. The BBQ chicken skewer (9/10) was probably the standout. It had a nice sweet and tangy flavor, and the char added great depth. The BBQ pork (6.5/10) had a similar profile, but the meat was mostly fat, which made it less enjoyable. The pork adobo (8/10) was tender and came with a rich, savory sauce that paired perfectly with the rice. I also had the lumpia (7.5/10). They were super crispy but lacked much flavor in the filling. Still solid, but I've definitely had better. This is a great spot for Filipino BBQ and classic staples. I'd definitely order the BBQ chicken again while also trying some other items. There's a reason this place is so well known in the community for serving great, affordable food.

I actually don't eat pork, but even I knew those were bold words. We had dinner reservations for a table of 10 at Patio at 7pm on a Friday. The place was busy, and most guests came with big parties of 8+ people. Half of our group arrived on time, and the restaurant went ahead and got them seated at our reserved table. We ordered several things off the menu including the appetizer sampler (fried calamari, fried shrimp, wings, and lumpia Shanghai), garlic rice, pandit bihon, bangus sisig, chicken adobo, pork sisig, bangus sisig, and crispy pata. I ate the fried calamari and shrimp, bangus sisisg, garlic rice, and a piece of chicken adobo. I also ordered a side of fried egg to make my dish a silog. Loved the fried rice and bangus sisig. I apreciated that the fried egg was perfectly overeasy with a runny yolk. More often than not I get the yolk cooked nearly all the way through. The other dishes were satisfying as well. I can't vouch for the pork sisig, but it was unanimously agreed by the other guests in our party that Patio's is the best. We shared desserts among each other including the fried flan and frozen mango. The fried flan was fun to try once. The frozen mango dish was so unique. It had a chopped mango topping and mango ice cream over a meringue base, which we realized had the texture of the cake part of brasso de mercedes. Lastly, I thought the service was fine. Some dishes came out quicker than others, but the staff members apologized for being backed up in their queue.

We had heard such great things about Hula Hoops and were excited to come for Mother's Day brunch. When we arrived Sunday morning, we were seated right away, which was great. However, our party of six was seated with only three food menus and five drink menus. I asked our waitress if we could get additional menus for the rest of the table, and she explained they had run out and were waiting for other guests to finish with theirs. We ended up asking if there was a QR code version we could scan, and she brought one over. I was mostly confused why the QR code wasn't offered immediately, knowing half the table didn't have menus to begin with. It just made the start of the experience feel a little disorganized. That said, there were definitely some positives. The sparkling cider for Mother's Day brunch was a really nice touch, and the Shanghai lumpia was fantastic. I ordered the two-protein silog breakfast with eggs, and while the flavors were good, the single scoop of rice just didn't feel proportionate to the rest of the plate. Any Filipino knows you need a little more rice to balance everything out, so I ended up not finishing my meal because it felt off portion-wise. My son ordered the cheese omelet and said it wasn't his favorite, especially the potatoes. The ube waffles were really yummy though, and my husband enjoyed the sisig tater tots. Overall, I'm glad we finally got to try Hula Hoops after hearing so many good things, but unfortunately it didn't quite live up to the hype for us, and I don't think we'd return.
