I used to go to Fit4Life about 5 years ago and recently decided to join again. I'm really glad I…read moredid. The employees are always friendly, welcoming, and motivating every time I come in. The gym stays clean and never feels overly crowded, so I can actually enjoy my workouts without waiting on equipment. Overall, definitely the best gym I've been to in Spring Lake!

I strongly caution anyone considering Fit4Life, especially military families or professionals with…read morelimited time, to think very carefully before committing. Over several months, my experience was marked by consistent operational failures: repeated missed training sessions, trainer no-shows, and being reassigned between four different trainers. There was no continuity, no structured workout plan, and no effective system for tracking progress or performance. As a paying customer, I ended up falling behind on at least eight sessions in a single month due entirely to Fit4Life's inability to deliver scheduled services. In November, I met with the manager, who acknowledged these issues and agreed to cancel both my wife's and my memberships so we could attempt to reconcile the missed sessions. I was explicitly told that no further charges would occur. Despite this assurance, both of our accounts were charged again on Christmas Day. At that point, the situation became even more frustrating. My wife is still owed sessions but is now unable to make them up because her membership was canceled -- a decision made by management, not by us. This highlights a broader issue: there appears to be significant internal confusion and a lack of accountability within the organization. After attempting to resolve this matter privately and professionally, I formally requested a refund for the most recent month of training, citing the missed sessions, billing errors, and the satisfaction guarantee advertised on Fit4Life's own website. I also informed them that my family is relocating overseas on military orders, which further limits our ability to continue pursuing resolution in person. Despite all of this, Fit4Life has refused to issue any refund. What is most disappointing is not just the poor service, but the unwillingness of ownership or corporate leadership to step in and resolve an obvious customer service failure. At multiple points, this could have been resolved reasonably and quietly. Instead, the burden was placed entirely on the customer to absorb the cost of services that were never delivered. This review is not written lightly. I made multiple good-faith attempts to resolve these issues directly before posting publicly. Unfortunately, Fit4Life has chosen not to stand behind its commitments, its satisfaction guarantee, or its responsibility to its clients. I would urge ownership or corporate leadership to review this location's practices, billing controls, and customer resolution processes. Until that happens, I cannot recommend Fit4Life to anyone -- particularly those with demanding schedules or families subject to frequent relocation.

You can truly tell they care about the members and their wellbeing. They are also very friendly and knowledgeable. Liz, Will, and the GM Magen are exceptional. As are the trainers! I've seen so many friends and acquaintances get amazing results . The daycare staff is so so wonderful as well. The ladies working in there really care about the kids. They do not just look after the children but they also play with them. They also give each and every kid their undivided attention. Nikki the manager of the daycare is tremendous! Fit4life is honestly the best gym I've been too. As a military spouse we move around a lot. So that means many gyms I have been a member of. Fit4life is the best one of them all.

If you are planning on signing up for this gym, take a deep dive into their policies and what you are signing up for before you decide to put your signature to paper. I will be honest, I've had some great experiences along the way, but there's always been something lacking that I couldn't quite put my finger on. However, once I came across dream fit, I instantly knew what it was- Patrick knows how to provide guidance, and help you work through your goals and challenges. With Dreamfit, you don't feel like just another client who filled out a cookie-cutter worksheet only to get an average workout. I found this standard approach is the reason why I never committed to the process. And let's be honest, it's hard to stick with things that don't feel Personal. Hence the name personal trainer. You can quickly tell that Patrick loves what he does and goes the extra mile to ensure you are part of the process. He WILL challenge you. We don't grow without resistance and change.
