The advertisement claiming you can spend 50$ or more and I tain a 15$ gift card.

After attempting to purchase 2 carts of items I was told I was not entitled to a gift card that stated when you purchase 50$ or more you get a 15$ card. The cashier was very kind the manager IMO was racist. I viewed the sign and it stated in small letter a red circle card was required it also gave the option to scan the barcode. I was declined and I assume due to the fact my card expired in 2024. After speaking with another in another language I believe was Spanish as I was called foul ignorant names in Spanish by 1 of the 3 speaking about me. The cashier advised I ask her again as she could over ride it. I chose not to and expressed to him I believed she was being racist towards me. He didn't respond to that. However I had approximately 600$ in products that were returned over a lousy 15$ GC that could have been issued if she chose to. I explained that to her in which she didn't care. However the misleading fine print requiring a person to obtain a red card or they would not be allowed to receive the benefits which are all throughout the store. This is not ok since it requires a person to qualify for said red card to receive those discounts and not is not on any of the signs in which I took videos and photos of. I will be making a complaint to corporate as well and hope many people realize they can't obtain said discounts unless they qualify for their red circle card. Thank you and again I will be forwarding this information to others. In hopes that some day you will be sued and forced to label your signs with the proper information. Honestly I wouldn't even have gone to this target, I only stopped there cause it was on my way home after a long and hectic treatment for radiation, which I also explained to the manager who would not divulge her name. I have a long history of giving reviews on yelp and I don't think I've given maybe 1 of 20 that were somewhat negative in nature due to the fact that it's very easy to leave negative and seems difficult for people to give positive comments. So again the cashier was very kind and helpful, however the young cashier who was previously conversing with the manager was arguing in front of an entire line of customers claiming one is not required to get authorized everyone automatically gets the discount just for applying. This is also problematic when 1 employee is blasting everyone with information that's not accurate. Again thank you I don't see many purchases in the future as many stores carry the same products and are mostly cheaper not including your "rebate" card.

I've been here a few times and wondered if they were still in business and there, they were. They haven't changed a bit. They are tastefully decorated in living room sets that are retro. We are shopping for a love seat so my husband sat in all of them hoping to find one. He liked the red minimalist one the most. The only thing is it looks like it might fold out to a futon, but it doesn't and we really need one for when my mother in law comes to visit and other visitors. They have so many items that I kept pointing to and saying "We used to have one of these." The most memorial items were the Pyrex, which my parents still have and a rotary phone which my parents still have just in case the electricity goes out. They also have the push button one and my parents have one of those too. My parents request to keep their land line and just have the local plan which they use to call their friends. They are afraid the power will go out and they won't be able to call anyone for help. And the power does go out in the winter on a regular basis where they live so this is really good for them. The new phones all use electricity. This shop also has lots of cases of jewelry and their broaches were on display on a mine mannequin. They were very sparkly, but I didn't have the time to really browse as the furniture took up most of my time. As we were finishing up my husband made the comment that he really needs to bring his sister and her husband here as she loves these types of store. They are planning on visiting so we'll be taking her here and to Zocalo too as shopping bring on a appetite.

But once that sleek $2,000 couch gets to your living room and starts sinking like a sad bean bag after three uses, the illusion fades fast. The quality? Absolute doo doo butt. There's no other way to put it. Cushions collapse, joints wobble, wood scratches if you even think about using it. And don't bother reaching out for support, they vanish faster than your paycheck on West Elm's website. It's like customer service gets beamed into another dimension the moment your card is charged. In this economy, where every dollar counts, the fact that West Elm charges luxury prices for furniture that feels like it's held together by vibes and wood glue is wild. Even if you have money to spend, that doesn't mean you should be throwing it at furniture that won't last a year. You deserve better than wobbly chairs and flakey finishes. At the end of the day, West Elm is all style, no substance. If you want furniture that holds up to actual life and not just your Instagram feed - look elsewhere.
