The staff confirmed that everything would be ready by 12:10 pm, so we arrived right on time expecting our meals to be waiting. When we got there, the restaurant was almost completely empty, with just one elderly lady who was already eating. We were seated quickly and received our drinks and appetizers without issue. However, our main courses did not arrive as promised. As the minutes passed, the delay grew more and more frustrating for everyone at the table, including my father who works with us. My father asked our server for an update on the mains. She went back to the kitchen to check but never returned to give us any information or apology. Our food finally came out around 12:45 pm, a full 35 minutes later than we had been told. By then, the meals were only lukewarm at best. With our tight schedule, we barely had time to eat what we could and had to pack up the rest to take back to work To make matters worse, when I went up to pay my bill, the server volunteered the comment, "You know, we aren't a fast food restaurant." That response felt rude and completely uncalled for. We were not expecting fast food service at all. We had called ahead specifically to avoid any delays and enjoy a relaxed meal together before our colleague's departure. Unfortunately, the combination of the extended wait, lukewarm food, complete lack of communication from the staff, and the unhelpful attitude at the end turned what should have been a meaningful and positive send-off into a stressful and rushed experience. We had hoped for much better service, especially on a quiet day with so few customers in the restaurant. We will not be returning.
