The food and beverages are are unique and delicious. Service is prompt and very knowledgeable with pairings of drink and menu.

Never a disappointing meal...even specials are so special they normally sell out so better arrive early!

To be honest, I hated this place. My salad was below average with about a 1:10 ratio of salad dressing and salad so to be blunt I felt like I took a bite out of the ground and ate it. My pulled pork sandwich was blah, absolutely nothing special. My friend's chicken sandwich was raw will probably end up in the hospital with food poisoning because of the amount of salmonella that was on her plate. The only good part about this restaurant was our waitress, who was a very nice lady. I will not be returning and I recommend that if you would like to remain happy and healthy, this is the last place to go. read more

Very nice and comfortable restaurant. Unique bar and they serve drinks at a take out window. We had the honey ricotta appetizer. Tasty and very fresh. Would have been better if they had not burnt the crostini. Can't believe the kitchen actually sent that out and they served it. The Heart Beet salad is unique with the fried mozzarella, that added so much more flavor. Loved this and it's a large salad, definitely a meal or you can share. The BlackBerry pork sandwich was very good, unique flavor and very moist pork. Service was slow but friendly. I really don't expect to spend 90 minutes for a meal consisting of an appetizer to share and a salad and sandwich for entrees. I might go back for that pork sandwich - it was really good! read more

I met with friends I haven't seen in a long time at Tano's during Saturday lunch hours. I've had Tano's catering many times and it's always been great. This was my first time at this location, and I made a prior reservation. It appears Sunday's book up fast (this was a week out and I could only book for Saturday lunch). The outdoor dining is spacious and was well shaded. The cheese, fruit, bread and nuts plate was amazing (and I was with a French woman who was also raving so that's quite the recommendation). For my entree, I had the quinoa bowl and it was delicious. Our server was super friendly, and attentive. She was also understanding about our long reunion gab session. We've dined here twice so far and this place is a delightful treasure! Service is impeccable, and the food is exquisite. There are several items on the menu I want to try. I had the pork chop my first visit - it was perfect. Then we went on St. Patrick's Day and I got one of the specials - bangers and mash - and it was wonderful as well. For many years, my wife and I have considered ourselves amateur foodies who love a good date night spot. Unfortunately, with the exception of maybe two other restaurants, we would have to travel to OTR, Downtown Cincy, West Chester, Lebanon or Covington to find any decent dinner spots! Enter stage left; Chef Tano - our hero! I have to be honest, I had my concerns that the new place would feel disjointed with the typical Hamilton crowd and the renaissance that is happening in the downtown area, but I must say that Tano fits like the glove on Alexander Hamilton's hands. The restaurant felt warm, modern and yet casual enough to walk in from Marcum park and just grab a bite. The food was upscale in flavor, but rustic and refined in presentation. Absolutely love this place. We had my birthday dinner here and everything was perfect! We started with the crab cake appetizer and cocktails. The Ginger pear martini is wonderful. The crab cake was perfect for two. He ordered Surf and Turf which included lobster ravioli and braised short ribs. It was delectable. I had the stuffed salmon and nearly licked the plate. Everything I've ordered thus far has been great and a very good value considering the quality ingredients Chef Tano uses. That said the salmon entree deserves a special mention. It is the best salmon I've had in years. Chef obviously sourced a high quality fillet and prepares it perfectly. It's moist, tender and delicious. The view from the bar of the manicured gardens in Marcum Park is sublime and the service attentive and friendly. I usually do not try a new restaurant for the first 3 months, but this is an extension of an existing business in Loveland. The place had been open 2 weeks. They are still feeling their way. One thing they to understand is that Hamilton is not Loveland. The services was friendly. There still needs to be training. The food we had was well prepared. The portions are small. The prices are not. They are 20-30% too high. The menu is a work in process. Octopus probably won't fly in Hamilton. read more

We had a fantastic dining experience at Tano's. We were traveling through from Texas and met some friends for dinner. The service was excellent! Rick and Dani, our servers, described the selections on the menu perfectly! We enjoyed several appetizers. The eggplant parmigiana, the sprout 'n snout (brussel sprouts with pork belly) and the tempura cauliflower as well as the crab cake were all very tasty! We all had a sample bite of the Mofongo. It was delightfully yummy! The main entrees we ordered more than met our expectations! A couple in our party ordered the Springer Mountain Chicken and it was scrumptious. The Crispy chicken sandwich was a masterpiece and proved to be an excellent choice! The quinoa bowl with salmon and the fish tacos both were amazing! The side of chili was excellent even when compared to Texas chili! The desserts were a perfect finish to our gourmet meal! We especially loved the creme brûlée and the Black Forest Bar. I will not be going back to Tano. Tried to purchase a drink to carry around town with a DORA cup at their walk up window. Since I was outside I was not wearing a mask. They would not serve me without a mask even though patrons were seated inside WITHOUT masks! They were also serving those on the outside patio without masks! One of those patrons even offered to loan me their mask! I can go through a drive through window with no mask on but I can't buy a drink standing outside at an appropriate distance. I went to a different establishment that was more than happy to serve me. read more

I have eaten here a number of times now. Any food I have ordered has been great. The service is great. I went there during Lent, every Friday, for their fish special. It did not disappoint!
