My husband and I were able to sit in a tight spot along the wall in the bar area. I would recommend reserving ahead if you can though, as this is a spot not to be missed. The wine list is varied with lots of organic wines and cavas. The food is simple, but so delicious. Even the simple tomato and mozzarella salad blew me away. The cheese plate was the best I've ever had. So much variety and a good portion. There was a local sheep's milk cheese that was insanely flavorful and addictive. All the toasts are on point and you can't go wrong if you randomly pick some. We tried the octopus and the anchovy. Customer service is excellent and very friendly. Our server spoke English so asking questions was easy. This area is a little touristy, so I wasn't expecting the best. However, everything was excellent. Lighting is dark and romantic. I…read moreappreciate the atmosphere and it has a friendly staff that is passionate about wine and supporters of the local community. It was also a hot day and the cava rosé made my afternoon. Though I don't think it is possible to go wrong with any of the brunch wine pairing! They all look amazing and I can't wait to come back and try a new pairing. Lastly, I am usually more of an introvert in a public place, but I was fascinated by the origin story of La Catalista. If you get a moment to talk to the owner, do it! Service - prompt & friendly Drinks - They dont have a lot of cocktails but a few that we tried were good and the cava and wine selection is great!
