UPDATED (edited after owner response on google review) : After posting this review on google, the…read moreowner publicly responded by telling me to "Get off my page!!!!" rather than addressing my concerns. I understand not every client will be satisfied, but I was disappointed by the unprofessional response. I originally gave two stars but am lowering it to one after the unprofessionalism. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Deborah is very sweet, however I did not have a great experience with her and would not recommend if you have natural hair. 1) Rough/heavy handed: 2) Left my hair feeling so dry She detangled my fine 4B hair with a regular square paddle brush when it was dry (you never should detangle type 4 hair when it's dry). She then blow dried my hair in this state when it was very dry (she did put oil on at the very end of the appointment, but still it should not have felt that dry during the process). When I asked if she could put something in my hair so it wouldn't be so dry, she responded "like what?" When I asked why my hair was so dry I'm unsure of the response she gave, it didn't make much sense considering my hair was freshly washed and deep conditioned. I am not too tender headed but it was uncomfortable and snagging a lot, while I understand my ends were tangled, she was not very gentle and the entire appointment felt rushed. I also felt like I was on edge the whole time because I was unsure if my hair would be damaged further from all the pulling and detangling while dry.
