Quite possibly my all-time favorite cigar lounge. They have a great selection of cigars, at very good prices. The staff there are very friendly and they also make a great cup of coffee. What sets the lounge apart from the rest in my opinion is the overall vibe of the place. The layout is very comfortable with deep, rich tones and comfortable seats/couches. This is a really large and nice cigar lounge. In my opinion, Country music and cigars don't go together. At all. Ever. So why on Mithra's green earth was there a live DJ playing Country on a Friday night? Totally killed the vibe for me. I picked out a nice AJ Fernandez smoke, but I was hot boxin' that joker because I couldn't get out of there fast enough. La Chica were talking to the folks around us about the poor music choice, and I think the bartender may have overheard us because the DJ switched it up. Unfortunately, he switched to some sappy 70s love songs. Stuff I heard my mom playing on 8-track when I was a kid. Absolutely terrible. However... Cigars selection, drinks, bartender and etc. were all fantastic. No complaints there at all!! Probably the sickest inventory in Pinellas to be honest. read more

This is great place to find some hard to find cigars. The place is big, not warehouse big, but big. They have a large bar and and plenty of leather chairs to lounge in, but thats not why I come here. I come here to buy hard to find cigars, Opus X, Padron anniversary editions, Fuente's etc... They seem to always have them when I come here and the prices are very reasonable, they don't price gouge on the high end brands and I am very grateful for that. The staff are friendly and very knowledgeable. The only thing I don't like about it is the location, not in my regular stomping grounds but I am in the Palm Harbor every once in a while, when I am I usually stop by and pick up some primo stogies. read more

Great cigar shop in Pinellas County. I go here frequently and there is always a good crowd good company and good conversations. Staff is always friendly but not overbearing that's the whole point of going to a smoke shop. The humidor is well stocked and there's always a Great selection of the newest sticks! I've never witnessed anything but reputable people spending their hard-earned dollars and enjoying good company! Huge selection of cigars which is really nice. It's also awesome if you want to hang out in the building and smoke your cigar over a beer or glass of wine. That being said, if you are not an AVID cigar smoker, you will get a headache during the times of heavier usage. The ventilation seems to be horrible. Before I start this review, some on the content may be offense, but needed to show the realness of it. Tonight I was at Cigar Cave in Palm Harbor Fl. I have been a customer there for a couple of months. They sometimes play very loud music that I would say is not really appropriate for a cigar lounge to relax. Tonight while trying to relax and enjoy a cigar and Diet Coke, loud noise and yes noise began to come out of the speakers that could be heard down in St. Pete. I assumed they thought it was music. Then I started hearing repeatedly the words Fuck and Nigger. Needless to say I was appalled and disgusted. To be in a public place and be subjected to such low life was unacceptable. I approached the manger, a heavy set man and asked if he was hearing what was be said in the music. He looked at me like I was crazy. I told him that the above words were being said over and over. He appeared not to be bothered by it. I told him that I was disgusted and offended. I also told him that I would never return. He had nothing to say to me, so I left. I will never go back the Cigar Cave again. I have been a cigar smoker for 35 years and traveled to many cities and cigar establishments. Never ever have I heard such stuff playing in a cigar lounge or bar in all my travels. This place seems to take for granite their clientele that come in every day and probably don't care about new customers. Well this ex-customer will not return. read more

This was our first time at a Florida cigar bar and we thought it was so cool. The humidor is huge (maybe 800 square feet) and fully stocked with cigars from every region and for every budget. Upon walking into the humidor I was greater by a staff member almost immediately. He was very helpful. After we picked out our stogies, we headed over to the bar for a couple pints of draft. The bartender was awesome. She poured our Pinellas Ales and went and grabbed a seat in their comfortable chairs and enjoyed. There was probably 15-20 patrons in the joint, it was Tuesday, and the music was playing and everyone seemed to really be enjoying them self. What a great experience. I will be back. read more

I had been craving cigars for awhile and needed to relax. So I drive 45 mins from work to the Tampa Cigar Cave. Why? I had been there twice and received really good service and enjoyed the relaxation of the place. So I get there at 8:45pm and was amazed to see the parking lot full. It was different. I'm in there on a regular basis to see if this is the norm but it was still surprising to walk in and see the place busier than the previous two times I went. I go in and head straight for the humidor. A gentleman comes in me and offers to help me find a cigar of my liking. I told him I liked mild cigars with a little bit of sweetness. He suggests the insidious cigar and I also grabbed a rum flavored cigar on the way out of the humidor. I go to the bar to order and drink and cash out. Let me just say that the bar is fully loaded with great liquor that pair well with many cigars. They also have a Kentucky bourbon beer that I had last time that will knock u off your feet. Me not being fully into cigars and what goes well with them, I just got captain and coke. Sweeter drink for a mild sweet cigar. I sat down to enjoy my items after noticing they had all the playoff games. I musket wanted basketball playoffs so I positioned myself where I could watch the game. What was different this time then the last two times is that they had a DJ playing soft soothing music that blended in and complimented the scene. Soft music included soft jazz, soft r&b, soft rock... It was good. I finished my cigar and Capt. And Coke and headed out. Enjoyable time. Parked in the private parking lot and made our way inside. This place is HUGE! There were probably 10 people here on a Thursday at 3 pm. Tons of stuff to look at. We made our way through the boxed cigars for sale. Past many nice leather wingback chairs. There was a circular table (think playing cards) as well as an office still table that one would sit at during an office meeting. Went to the humidor which had a load of cigars to choose from. Walked past the FULL bar and over to the lighters/cutters for sale. Lots of different brands for sale. The lady behind the bar and the person that helped us with all of the lighters we wanted to look at was super friendly. Not in an overly friendly way but in a helpful way. The man who was at the desk by the humidor was friendly as well. Nice music playing which was country at the time. This was radio music not live music. We happen to live country and it was softly playing in the background. They have a rewards system (type in your phone number) and it send you random texts about specials and music. We also received 10% off your next purchase coupon which you can save for later and there is NO expiration date. A+ We will return. Love this place. read more

This place is the bomb! I have to admit this is not my usual type of bar, but we were staying in a hotel across the street. So, we decided to give it a try. The humidor room was vast & eclectic, while not being overly pricey. The staff was knowledgeable, attentive & loads of fun. The atmosphere is dark, smoky & mysterious upon entering. Once your eyes adjudt, you realize it looks like a pretty cool place to hang out. The cocktails were refreshing and on point. We were able to relax, meet some interesting folks & enjoy several hours of secluded R&R, while taking in our newly discovered hidden gem. Overall a great & laid back evening with good company. Yes, we did come out smelling like stoagies, but that washes off The evening was memorable, as it was unique & fun. What's a girl to do? Huge selection of cigars. The walk in humidor is amazing. Just browsing all the selections can take quite some time. Prices are pretty decent, although you can find better in the area. Nobody I've been to in that area has the selection though. The lounge area is very nice, with leather seating, big TVs, a poker table, and a bar (no liquor). There's also a display area for lighters, cutters etc, and sometimes a clearance table with awesome deals. My only gripe is related to the staff. One of the owners seemed very leery of me being in the humidor by myself. Maybe it was my age, I don't know. I certainly did not feel welcome though, and it kinda ruined that visit for me. The other owner (longer hair) is very friendly, and always welcomes questions and discussion. He also came into the humi, but only to ask if I had any questions. He soon left. Overall, a nice place to hang out with an enormous selection of quality cigars at fair prices. The humi stalking was a bit annoying, but you gotta protect your product. BE CAREFUL WITH THESE GUYS! I received an email from them regarding their annual Christmas party and a 15% off all boxes (except Opus X) promotion they were running. I went to the event and chose a box of Davidoff cigars. While checking out, the owner informed me that he would only do 10% on the box I was purchasing, because it was his "last one." I pressed him on the 15% email and he stuck with 10%, but told me I would receive raffle tickets for a drawing to be held later in the evening - grand prize a $1000 box of Zino Crown Z's. I bought the box of Davidoff and received 4 white raffle tickets. Later, while chatting with some other customers, I noticed that others were receiving red raffle tickets. Apparently, these were his regular customers. Long story short, white tickets went into one box, red into another. Guess which box of tickets the prizes were drawn from? You got it, the red box. I have no problem with rewarding your regulars, but don't advertise a 15% discount, not honor it, and then offer raffle tickets that will never get drawn. Make the drive to Tampa Humidor or the Davidoff shop over at International plaza. No bait and switch or rigged raffles at either of those... read more
