My divorce case began in September 2022 after my husband, became abusive. I hired Attorney Tamer based on paid a flat fee of $2,500 for the entire divorce proceedings. Tamer initiated the divorce by sending a letter to ex-spouse. However, I temporarily suspended the divorce proceedings to give him another chance to change his behavior. Unfortunately, due to his dishonesty and failure to fulfill his marital responsibilities, I decided to resume the divorce in April 2024.
At this point, Attorney Tamer demanded an additional flat fee of $5,000 for the continued representation, even though my financial situation was difficult, and I had to use credit card debt to pay for the legal fees. The divorce was finalized on July 30, 2024, through the 1st Mediation. During this time, I was accompanied by my 23-year-old college son. I asked Attorney Tamer about the next steps if ex-spouse failed to fulfill his obligations, to which Tamer assured me that they would take responsibility for ensuring compliance. However, after the judgment, Attorney Tamer's actions were the opposite. He failed to assist me in ensuring that ex-spouse upheld his obligations, provided no further support, and ignored my requests for help. Despite my efforts to communicate and resolve the issues, Tamer dismissed all of my concerns and neglected to send emails or correspondence to the opposing party, which only caused me further stress.
In summary, I am deeply disappointed with the level of service I received from Attorney Tamer. Not only did I feel that the legal fees I paid were not justified by the assistance I received, but I was also left without proper support after the final judgment, which only added to the emotional and financial burden I was already experiencing. read more
