None Of the reviews on google or Yelp mentioned that it's wayyyyy out there, like seriously…read morebackwoods. I was mildly concerned I'd made a wrong turn but Google has the right address. There aren't other wineries around. The host seemed to be the owner and was very friendly. I got in too late for prepared food but they do platters all day and I had a local cheese platter. It was cheddar and pepper cheddar, none very sharp but they were fine, and came with nice preserves, apple slices, and crackers. I asked for recommendations for my tasting. A bit to my surprise the wine was actually all quite good. Nice Riesling, nice Gewürztraminer, the Sauvignon blank smelled just like passion fruit. There's only one red available now, a cab sauv that I didn't love, but it definitely wasn't bad. They had a nice fortified red, too, and j didn't try the moscato but someone else came in and tried it and bought two bottles immediately, so I assume it was decent. There are nice wooded areas around it and you can walk down to a lake to wait off your tasting.

They were quick to respond to email, answered all my silly questions and pitched in advice and suggestions at all the right moments. We had a cocktail style party for a little over 40 people. The food was absolutely delicious and there was plenty to eat - always a risk with this style of function I think. The wine and ciders produced by the winery are spot on. We plan to go back and: eat at the restaurant, go during the day, go during summer......
