So after waiting and waiting, I asked if she would be kind enough to email me it and she agreed to do so. It has been over 3 weeks and no estimate was ever sent. Two weeks ago I emailed Dr. Hollander with some follow up questions regarding the crown as well as what they are doing regarding Covid19 guidelines; to date I have still not received a response. It seems to me a very strange way to run a business. I don't think anyone would want to go to an unresponsive dentist.

By the time we had left we had been admonished about his oral care, correcting his bite, expanding his palate, and potentially removing his tonsils. When I asked how I could expect compliance from a 7 year old to wear a retainer I was told ... take his iPad away from him if he doesn't ... or he will end up with a palate expander later. I am thankful that I many excellent long term relationships with orthodontists and ENTs who contradicted the given advice to give me a better and fuller understanding of this particular child's challenges. The final and completely unnecessary straw was having me sign a document acknowledging the price if his twin needed a tooth pulled ... because you can't just send the quote home with me- you need my signature... (because I'm 5.) Employees were all perfectly nice and no complaints about friendliness of employees or cleanliness and appearance of facility. The buck ends at the top though. At the end of the day it's about the attitude and relationship with the dentist. It's wasn't there for me that day.

Thanks to the high tech appointment reminders and digital patient forms, I was able to have everything prepared for my appointment and was taken back shortly after my arrival. Next, the hygienist, Kristen came in for my cleaning and was so very sweet and gentle. My husband proceeded with the promise that he would only be working at the Gahanna office. My husband drives a truck so everything is scheduled, time and distance are of the essence. As soon as they got their payment and did the first couple of appointments the dentist left of some bs happened and my husband's appointments were shifted to Grove freakin city! Are you kidding me?????? Way too far from our home. Horribly inconvenient but my husband pushed through. They removed my husband's braces. They never put a permanent retainer on his top teeth. My orthodontist whose office is in Bexley says that's a no no for someone who had as much correction as my husband. Welp no top retainer. They put on a bottom retainer. My husband's bottom row of teeth is beginning to fold inward. I'm not even sure how this would happen. They are shaping up to be worse than before. Needless to say he will have to once again get braces. Maybe this time he'll listen and use a private practice versus ​​a chain location.
