My hair was probably to the lower middle of my back and down past my chest. With the cut I wanted my hair should've stopped right at the bottom of my chest. The girl cutting my hair was very nice but she cut around 5-6 inches off and now my hair is around the top of my chest and collarbone. I love my long hair and I am very sad so have short hair like this for the first time in probably 6-7 years at least. Also, this may be my problem but I do get dandruff and when the lady washed my hair she did not scrub my scalp at all, just rubbed soap on my hair then rinsed it off. So I left the salon with short blow dried hair and a layer of dandruff on my scalp after being washed. Would not recommend.

So after about a month of scouring the internet for The One for me. Based on the spectacular reviews of this place, I decided to check it out. Once I saw Jordania's profile, I knew she is the one for me. My consult with her was great. She listened to my hopes, desires and concerns with understanding. I'm that rare natural blonde that actually wants to go brown. She was extremely thorough with explaining the process of going brunette with balayage, and even explained the even longer process to go back to blonde if I do so choose. My appointment to have my hair done was absolutely wonderful! She's so easy to talk to and just a delight! She's such a sweet and down to earth lady with remarkable hair skills. She made me feel like a beauty queen. Even the other staff around just made me feel so welcome and good about myself. Also the salon itself is beautiful. Very chic, modern, well lit and clean. Even the hair wash basins are super comfortable and didn't hurt my neck. Now I'm a brunette and I'm absolutely in love with my hair! Beautiful color and amazing texture! My hair is so soft, silky and shiny. Jordania also showed me how to used certain products to help give volume at my roots. She's an absolute darling and I just adore her and her work! I'm definitely going back to her! I highly recommend Jordania!

I was charged $307.00 plus I tipped so the total was $368.00 for this debacle. However, they did offer to fix my hair for an additional $600-$1,000.

I chose Nicole based on her stylist description on the website. She's experienced and an artist in life more than just hair, so I felt she would be able to take control when I told her what I wanted. I'm open for a conversation to get to what's realistic based on upkeep, home styling, and my hair type. I rely on hair stylists expertise and many do not seem comfortable taking the reins on it, even though they should, IMO, since they are the professional. She delivered and then some. She is very knowledgeable. She explains things in a way that you can tell she just knows her stuff and she wants to make sure you understand where you two are going. She puts importance in giving you what you want, but also explaining how it will work based on how much time you want to spend on your hair and upkeep. Since this was our first meeting, I only did haircut (which is more important than color and requires an artful eye to shape, personality, etc), but we discussed color and she's on it. She knows her stuff and I feel super comfortable letting her work on me next time. I've had the privilege of having some really talented stylists coming from California. This salon has at least one talented lady here that I can speak of and they are very lucky to have her!

Normally, I keep my hair blond. My mom is sick w/ alzheimers, when I was born, I had auburn hair…read more She is a red head, when my hair fell out and grew back in, it was blond. I colored it red, I wanted mom to see me with red hair again (she was very sick and we thought she was about to pass). This was my first professional hair color/ color correction appointment in 6 yrs. The color correction went very well. I was so excited because after just one round of bleach Haliey was able to get me to nearly platinum. However, she didn't touch my roots, which were about 2" At the start of it all, I showed her two pictures, (either would have been ok), one a golden blond and the other a neutral blond. Because of constraints for Haliey, my color correction/ dye took two days, each about 2hrs long/ 2days in a row. After day 1, color correction, I was over the moon thrilled with the level of blond she was able to achieve in just one session. Then she put in a heavy conditioner that I left in over night until the following day. Day 2 we picked a blond, and a low light, brown color. I kept saying to her "more blond than brown", over and over. After she rinsed/washed my hair, I was horrified to see it was a dark brown, with a tiny bit of blond highlights. The day after I called the salon to let them know, this wasn't what I wanted. I was booked for a week later. Haliey and I talked about my hair, I told her this isn't what I wanted, nor was it anything like the pictures I had shown her.I wanted blond with a small amount of brown low lights. We began to argue. She said " I told you this was a process and it would take more than one appt". (BTW, she said root touch up and a trim every 4-6 weeks would be 160.00) I told her, my hair was more than half way there after the first day/color correction! I didn't want a full head of brown w a tiny bit of blond highlights. Then she said to me,multiple times, I was being rude/disrespectful, because I was standing up for what I wanted. I said no, I'm not cussing, or yelling, I am advocating for what I want. Finally it was agreed upon she would do a clarifiyin clarifying shampoo. It smelled like ammonia, the fumes burned my eyes. She applied it with a hair dye paint like brush and said that she didn't get it on my roots because she didn't give me hot roots, I think it was a bleach wash. Yes, it reduced the brown. And yes, I walked out with reddish hair, just like I walked into the salon. I paid over $300.00 not including tip. I am so disappointed. I could have achieved this color at home for $40.00.
