UPDATE Nov 20, 2022: It has been over 7 months and we are still waiting for our plans to be completed and submitted to the County. After being told many times that the plans would be submitted by a specific date, Belinda Taluban completely stopped responding to any communication from us. I went to her office in person and she lied to me again stating the work would be completed within a week (this was in July). At this point, we are out many thousands of dollars from the delay and wasted time, and we are not sure what to do. The County continues to give us deadlines that can only be met by the submission of the engineering plans. We are changing this review to 1 star and will reassess if the project is ever completed by Taluban Engineering.
Notably, when she was communicating, she repeatedly expressed how busy she was. In hindsight, she should not have taken on our project and we would have found another engineer, saving us a lot of stress. We did have a positive initial impression of her and she seemed very capable and motivated at the time.
