This company was chosen by our mortgage company. After the appraisal the mortgage broker called to ask what happened? $30,000 under market value. The guy was here 15 minutes, took and few pictures and left. The guest house behind our house is not even listed in the appraisal. The comps used on Eddins Road in no way compare to our house. It looks like where grandma lived after the depression. It's hard to imagine how they stay in business with obviously no knowledge of home values or construction costs. No mention of hardwood (real wood) floors, high end appliance, granite, spa quality master bathroom or guest house with bedroom, living room, kitchen with appliances and bathroom. My finance company used these people when we were trying to refi. Wow, what a disappointment!! I wish they had used someone that actually wanted to do their job correctly! Overpriced..$150. more than anyone else, missed half the things on our property. Used comps that were no where near what we had, and appraised it so low the finance company couldn't even do the refi! They were as confused as we were! Considering I had the same property appraised, not even a month earlier for selling, this guy was still $48,000 less than that appraisal. I think if they took the time to actually do their job correctly, and not get it done in less than 24 hours, this review probably would've gone the other way. I will never use this company, and I will be sure to spread the word to all my realtor friends and surveyors, that this is not the company to go with. Very disappointed and what a waste of money!
