One star. I would not recommend Trisha Faliveno or Dawn Talbot based on my experience.
From the beginning, I felt repeatedly pressured rather than represented. I gave clear instructions regarding what I would and would not agree to, including my position on repair concessions and later my conditions for proceeding with the sale. When my instructions did not align with what they wanted, they continued communicating with the other seller and moved forward in ways that made me feel completely disregarded as their client.
The worst part of the experience came during the removal of my personal belongings from the property. I had specifically stated in writing that my personal items were to be identified, packed, removed, and shipped to me at no cost to me as a condition of my cooperation. During the FaceTime packing process, however, Trisha and Dawn repeatedly argued with me over what I was permitted to take and referred to several of my personal belongings as "garbage." Items I requested from the kitchen and other areas were refused, despite the fact that I had made clear that I wanted substantially all of my personal belongings removed.
The situation became completely unprofessional. Dawn used profanity during the call and told me that if I were her friend, she would "shake me" because she believed I was not making sense. Trisha repeatedly complained that they had never had to do anything like this in 30 years and made comments about the amount and nature of my belongings. A friend was physically present with me during the call and heard the interaction.
What was especially frustrating is that this was treated as though they were personally doing me some extraordinary favor, while the arrangement to ship my belongings was being handled and paid for separately through the other seller's attorney's office. They still received their commission from the transaction, yet I was made to feel like a burden for insisting that my own property be handled in accordance with the conditions I had already put in writing.
Real estate transactions can be stressful enough without feeling bullied, belittled, and personally attacked by the professionals who are supposed to represent you. I found the communication dismissive, the tone frequently hostile, and the overall experience deeply unprofessional.
Based on my experience, I would never use Trisha Faliveno or Dawn Talbot again, and I would not recommend them to anyone looking for representation in a difficult or high-conflict real estate transaction. read more
