I came here thinking i was getting a quick change but no i was sadly wrong. I had to wait 20 min for someone to walk up to my car and pull me to a bay area. Then I had to watch 3 people do one car at a time. If yall can't do one vehicle at a time then you should be working in this industry. I have been here for an hour and half. read more

Extremely Disappointed -- Take 5 Needs to Take Accountability I visited Take 5 Oil Change around 5:05PM. All the bays were full when I arrived, and I patiently waited for Bay 3 to open. I watched as one car exited -- not from my lane -- and someone else pulled right into that spot. No big deal. I kept waiting my turn. Eventually, Bay 2 cleared out, but another car was pulled in ahead of me, even though I had been waiting longer. When I was finally waved into Bay 3, no one greeted me or gave an update. I just sat. By 6:20 PM, I was still sitting there with zero communication, while Bay 1 and Bay 2 were being serviced normally. As a Black man, I couldn't help but notice a difference in how I was being treated. Eventually, an employee (also African American, no name tag) came up and casually said, "Yo, hey bro, pull your car up." I asked him politely to speak to me like a regular customer -- not as if we were friends. I don't know you, and I'm not here for casual talk. Just treat me like you're treating everyone else. He clearly didn't like that, because after that interaction, I was completely ignored. Other vehicles were pulled in and serviced while I sat -- in the bay -- for almost two hours total. No update, no explanation, no urgency. This experience at Take 5 felt personal and discriminatory. Whether it was due to my appearance, my skin color, or the car I drive, I was not treated with the same level of professionalism or respect as others around me. I'm a University of Houston alum, and like these workers, I had a long day too. But sitting in a bay with no communication for nearly two hours while others get in and out within 30-45 minutes? That's not just poor service -- it's disrespect. Take 5 -- you need to do better. Every customer deserves to be treated fairly and professionally. I'll be taking my business elsewhere. Do better. Went in for an oil change, and were instructed to pull into a bay after about 20 min after arrival. Then we waited for about 1 hr only to watch them start working on another car that got there after us. Still waited until we couldn't any longer. Politely said, "excuse me sir" and the employee by the name Amir, just paused and gave us the dirtiest look as if he was bothered to be asked something. We simply asked for him to close the hood because we were leaving and that sure did make him move quick. If you hate your job just say that! Never coming back here again. I arrived at this Take 5 location at 7:30 am, it didn't appear too busy at the time. Upon arrival I was able to pull directly into a bay. There were two cars ahead of me, I waited in the car for 40 minutes and still no service. I ended up leaving at 8:10 still needing to find a place to get my oil changed. I have been bringing my car here for a few years now and I have never had any problems before. That was up until recently when I brought my car to get an oil change and since I have been coming here for a while, I did not think I would have any issues. I took my car to get an oil change back in October and it is now almost the end of November. I thought everything was fine with my car until one day my car started shaking violently and I could not drive my car down the street without having to turn it on and off. I was not sure what was wrong with my car because I have NEVER had any issues with my car prior to this oil change. I had somebody come and look at my car and was told that it was a very stupid mistake. However, he did tell me if I had kept driving my car any longer it would have caused some MAJOR car problems for me. I am glad that I kept the receipt and everything after I had gotten my oil change because I have the names of who worked on my car that day and it was Chris G. and Garrett. Since I had brought my car here for a while, I did not think that Chris G would forget something so small but instead of my dipstick oil cap what was put in place of that was a cap that belong to a bottle it seems. Mind you, my car part looks nothing like that bottle cap.. (I will provide pictures) During this situation I was never rude or anything towards anyone working here because I was trying to be polite. I did call and speak with Miley who told me she would order it for me and that it would take a week for the part to come in. Well weeks turned into over a month, I called multiple times and for some reason it seemed that no one ever liked to answer the phone. Although when I did get a hold of them Miley did tell me their vendor cancelled the order for my part because the company card for declined???? I'm not really sure how that happens after they had charged me over a hundred dollars for an oil change. Chris G had also given some attitude on the phone when I would call asking about my car part which was unacceptable and very unprofessional considering I had been a loyal customer for years. Once Miley called me about the card getting declined she assured me that she would get it ordered again. She mentioned that this time it would be expressed shipped and it would be delivered 11/24 or 11/25 to which I would receive a call. It is now 11/26 and I never received a call from the shop. I had to order the part myself from Austin because I cannot go any longer without a car considering that I work and go to school full time. The part I ordered from Austin only took 2 days for it to arrive. The car part that Chris G and Garrett lost in their shop was never delivered to the shop. The whole situation was handled very poorly and unprofessional. I have not been able to contact anyone about this because no one answers the phone. I had to use my own money to buy a part that they lost! That is just unbelievable. I will never be taking my car here again nor will I recommend this shop to anyone ever again. read more

They should rename the place Take 50. I pulled up and waiting for 15 minutes outside the location and waited for them to finish the car in front. When the other car finally pulled away. I was guided in the bay but not greeted. I was using a fleet service card and wanted to first ask if they took my service card. For 20 minutes I watched six people change the oil on a Toyota Tundra in bay 1. Mostly it was was one guy with four other guys standing around watching him. I kept thinking that someone would come to ask what I needed, but nope. I drove off as they all looked at each other wondering where I was going. I drove straight to Valvoline a couple of doors down and was immediately helped. Note to the owner.....your onsite manager needs to wake up and get his people working. I am infuriated with this location. When I arrived, not a single employee was wearing a mask or social distancing. I have lost two friends and my aunt three weeks ago to Covid-19. I don't care what hillbilly political rhetoric anyone has. This is a real and serious pandemic and I refuse to use a business that blatantly disregards state, national and international enforcements for our safety.
