We were in SLT for a week and had already planned on going to apple hill, so when I saw this tour offered by our resort, I jumped all over it. They have modern luxury small buses. The seats are extremely comfortable and the ride was smooth. The driver, John, narrated the whole trip with history of the areas and photo opportunities. A picnic lunch was provided at one of the wineries, with sandwiches potatoe salad, fresh salad and a variety of beverages. If in south lake Tahoe, and you do not want to deal with the traffic and maps, try this company out. They were on time picking us up, they totally accommodated both my wife and being disabled. Will be back next year.

I booked a tour around Lake Tahoe for Tuesday, September 16, 2025, through Viator and never…read morereceived a confirmation of the tour. On Sunday, September 14, 2025, I contacted Viator and explained the above and I was in formed I was not booked for a tour. I asked if I could purchase a ticket for the tour and was told not was sold out and the next tour available was Tuesday, September 30, 2025. I checked my Viator account and it did not show a pending or cancelled tour on September 16, 2025. I booked another tour for 199.00 and took that tour. I received a call for the tour driver and said they were waiting for me. I told him what happened and that I was told I did not have a ticket. I checked my credit card statement and was shocked that I was charged 70.00 for the tour when I was I informed I did not have a seat. I filed a request with Viator and was told the refund was declined by Discover Lake Tahoe Tours. Discover Lake Tahoe Tours uses Viator as a third party administrator and if their administrator gives out incorrect information it is not the clients fault but the company(ies). I will not use Viator or Discover Tours again.

Ruh roh, so it looks like the 21x (daily direct bus between Carson City and Stateline) was canceled…read morethis past winter. Was always afraid of this as ridership seemed to be low. Still possible to get to and from, though ... it's just a longer trip now. You can take the 20x from Stateline which first meanders down through Gardnerville before turning into the 19x at the end of that route and proceeding up through Minden to Carson. Just reverse directions to go from Carson to Tahoe. So basically it's a big detour that tacks on about 45 minutes, but at least it's the same $4 fare as before. And the 1:15 and 3:30 departures will get you to Carson in plenty of time to transfer to the Reno RTC Intercity, though of course keep in mind that one only runs Mon-Fri.

Everything went fantastic. However, for the game tickets it is best if you download the Monsters' App too. And realize for the price - your tickets are in the end zones. Fifteen of us were able to party up and arrive safely home. Both bus drivers were professional and possessed a sense of humor! An added bonus the Knight Monsters came from behind to win the game!  I am recommending your service to any one who will listen. They have a variety of free maps inside and many coupons for Tahoe restaurants and services. Clean bathrooms too. Inside, for younger kids, they have an area for tracing and coloring. For older kids, they have several educational exhibits illustrating the vastness of the Tahoe Lake, the history and educational facts. For older fans, there is an area with benches for you to sit down and watch a video about the history of Lake Tahoe. The video is of high quality and great historical and educational value... we really enjoyed it. They also sell books and a few finger puppets, toys, and nik naks/ souvenir items for Lake Tahoe. This place is very clean, very organized with excellent staff. Well done! We really enjoyed the visit.

TJ (the owner) did a great job coordinating with me and getting all of us to our destination safely. The shuttle experience itself is what you make of it. We had an absolute blast inside. We played our own music, brought our own drinks and snacks. TJ also provided some additional snacks and beverages just in case we needed it. TJ was very accommodating, allowing us to make multiple stops to get groceries, use the bathroom, and grab lunch etc. I highly recommend this service. Anyone traveling in a large group should use this service, especially for a drive as long as our was.
