Tagawa is always nice, and seems to be ever-expanding and with a lot of botanical educational opportunities!

If you are curious about plants or interested in purchasing some but also want your dog to join you on your errand run to the gardens, this is the perfect place for you. As someone who doesn't know much about plants, I was overwhelmed with the options and choices available. There are lots of colors and species. I really liked the fairy plants that they offer. They also have classes as well where you can build and plot your own which was cool and something I'll have to check back in the future. MoMo also had a fantastic time exploring the gardens smelling everything and exploring. Lots of pretty photo ops for the doggos.

Great tips!

This is a plant lovers paradise. As soon as I walked through the doors I felt calmer. This is a local gem and gardeners who are serious about plants and how to grow them come here. They offer free classes nearly every day and have experts who want to help. We came later in March and were able to find some stunning pansies while the big box stores weren't stocked yet. I know price can be an issue for something like an annual that will die but the superior quality of the plants shines through. They are grown in the perfect conditions and aren't mass produced and sprayed with toxic chemicals. Some pansies last a few weeks, these can last an entire Spring and Summer if cared for and protected from extreme weather. I decided that 2 large pre-planted pots of pansies for $60 would give me over 10 plants to split up. At $6 a pansy that is worth it to me due to their strong stems and beautiful color. Looking forward to coming back closer to Mother's Day when we all know we can finally plant in the ground. Amazing job Tagawa for setting the standard.

Line for Sato pansies event!

Professional handling of a special event and organized even when numbers of people were higher than expected. Great local plant nursery!

Yesterday late morning/early afternoon this wonderful woman helped me fill a couple planting boxes when I had asked if they had marigolds and they were out. She kindly asked what I liked about them and asked if I was open to other options because of what I liked about the marigolds. She proceeded to help me through the store with great knowledge, didn't push any sales and truly it was like shopping with a friend. I really really appreciated it so much I had to make sure to write this review.

I hear you, but here are a couple of things to consider: 1. Returning merchandise to other stores doesn't require putting tons of live insects into your car. 2. Consider the lifetime value of a customer. King Soopers will take ANY item back, no questions asked. Why? Because they understand that the customer is always right. The cost to them if I return a $20 steak is nothing compared to me continuing to shop there. If I start shopping at Safeway instead, they lose all the purchases I would have made there forever!

They'll load the tree to your car by the southern greenhouse

They have a lot of plants, but I never seem to be able to find what I want here. And I have a terrible time getting assistance from anyone.

The price here is also very competitive compare other nurseries in Denver somewhere between 10%-20% cheaper.

I did find the "Let's Flamingle" door mat, which will vastly irritate my pun-loathing friends. They didn't have the "Go Away" door mat. Or the one that says, "I hope you brought wine." Ah well. I found a couple more flamingo things, but discovered to my surprise that they do not carry slipcovers. This strikes me as odd for such a gigantic store. It was difficult to find anyone to help me, but when I did, he was very helpful. Almost everything I bought was summer stuff on clearance. A lot of summer and garden stuff is NOT on clearance. Also weird, as I write this in early November. I didn't really need two adorable garden gnomes, but I wanted them. Alas, not on clearance, and neither was the large grey resin alligator. I probably would have bought it at $40, but definitely not at $80. Silly impulses can only go so far. $80 is too far for me. Hangers are well priced, will go back and get them another time. It's always the ugliest patio cushions that go on sale. Oh well. Some patio umbrellas are on clearance, others are not. Also weird. Maybe some patterns are temporary and others permanent stock.

Honestly I'm surprised At Home is still in business. They are never busy. The warehouse is huge and…read morehave plenty of options. However, the products and quality of products are underwhelming. It's worth a look through if you've never been, maybe you'll find something you can't live without! My biggest negative: the employees look like they'd rather be anywhere else but there. You won't be offered help or greeted or barely talked to so set your expectations low.
