Checked out La Kora Taco Truck while I lived in Davis for college. They're open 9:30 to 4pm,…read morelocated a bit north of Davis in a small food truck. - Al Pastor Taco - $3 p taco, pastor was stewed and seasoned well, topped with grilled onions, parsley, and radish They're most well-known for their al pastor tacos made with homemade tortillas, a well stocked salsa bar, and other traditional Mexican street foods like carnitas tacos and pescadito. They serve up fresh-pressed tortillas and flavorful meats. Service is quick, friendly, and straightforward, with staff that are helpful and chill. Ambience is no-frills and grab-and-go, with no seating or tables, but that's exactly the vibe you want from a fire taco spot like this.

Woodland is about a 15-minute drive from Davis, and this place is located off Highway 5 in the middle of an agricultural zone. It was a bit tricky to find, but we managed to make it. We ordered the Al Pastor (which FeedMeiMei claimed was their best taco), Biria, and Asada tacos. Our order was ready in just 5 minutes since we were the only customers. However, they only accept cash, and luckily, we had enough cash to pay. While FeedMeiMei had a special fondness for this place and considered it to be the best tacos she had ever had, I found them to be just average. I suppose their tacos reminded her of her college life, which explains her sentimental attachment to them. In conclusion, this taco truck might not be worth going to if you're expecting extraordinary tacos. However, if you're driving past and feeling hungry and have cash, it's worth stopping by for a quick bite.

I love that they kept a little food truck on the side, it adds so much character and nostalgic vibe! If we could try everything on the menu, we would but definitely try the burritos and the tacos! I ordered their birria soup which was pretty good but I think it was too much in soup form, I will be back to try their menudo! Even though it took more than 20 minutes for our food to come out it was a nice place to catch-up and hang-out. Our server was super sweet and attentive. They also had a salsa bar if the salsa and tortilla chips are calling your name!

What's cool is that they got to keep their same location as before! Also so clever that the brick-and-mortar restaurant's takeout window for to-go orders has the mural of the taco truck with the pickup window lining up perfectly! I stopped in for a late lunch after the rush. Unfortunately, no taco Tuesday deals but the waitress gave me the to-go/window price for the tacos ($3-$4) instead of the sit-down restaurant price ($3.50-$4.50) even though I dined in. Complimentary chips and salsa bar. Spacious, with mural decor and comfy booth seating. High windows, not sure if there is ample patio space. For street tacos the meats you can pick from are pollo/chicken, asada/steak, carnitas/deep fried pork, spicy steak/adobada, marinated pork/al pastor, or beef head/cabeza. Lengua/tongue, veggie, or tripa/tripe are +$1, and shrimp governador street soft tacos are +$2 each. I got one asada, one cabeza, and one lengua street soft taco with everything on them, and these came with cilantro and onion in two corn tortillas. Radish slices, lime wedges, and pickled jalapeno/carrots on the side, and rojo salsa on top. They do also have lunch plates but those start at $16. Appetizers, quesadillas, caldos, burritos, bowls, even breakfast. I think they do have some aguas frescas as well.

My new favorite spot in Woodland for burritos! Everything is fresh, tastes amazing and customer…read moreservice is great! I've been here three times so far, every time is consistent with quality of food and customer service being excellent. Location is easy to find, right next to AMPM gas station. There's one table outside of the truck to sit down. My first time, I ordered a carne asada burrito how it comes. I really didn't care for the lettuce and tomatoes. Second visit, I did remove the lettuce and tomatoes from my carne asada burrito and added cheese. It was sooooooo yummy!!!! The burrito is huge. I like how they cut the burrito in half. Presentation on point with jalapeños, grilled onions and radishes on the side. I would like to try other items from their menu and will return again!

Usually it's a crap shoot. Vhs food trucks. However, this one is the exception to the rule. This one was amazing. I got four fish tacos and these were the best fish tacos I ever had in my life! Whatever sauce magic they're putting on here is incredible. With the amount of fish you could probably make an extra taco each out of the single Taco. The tortillas were amazing as well. I wonder if they're using the homemade tortillas at the tortilla truck across from it? Anyway, I had to write this review to remind myself to come back here anytime. I'm working down this way. Please go and support them. Amazing fish tacos!
