It's a super small shop, so there was not much more than a few tables. This just means the food is good, right? Since it was my friends' recommendation and I figured they'd been here a few times, I let them handle the ordering, and I had no regrets. Everything was delicious! The menu is pretty minimal, which is always a good sign that they specialize in what they serve. We got a few things: tacos dorados de birria, chicken flautas, and soft tacos. The highlight of the meal was definitely the chicken flautas; they were just so good! The cheese, lettuce, and all the toppings really made it an experience. It was a refreshing change from the heavier, more meaty, and greasier options we tried. I'm not saying the other dishes were bad, but after a few bites, they did feel a bit heavy. The consommé and the red and green sauces helped balance that heaviness, and the chilies provided were perfect for cutting through it. They were a wonderful addition to the meal. Overall, the chicken flautas really helped lighten up the meal and provided a nice, flavorful contrast.

The restaurant was small inside, with some really cool paintings decorating the interior. (very cultured) Love it! However, there was no restroom available, but that's beside the point. We ordered some birria and consommé to go along with it and took our food to a nearby park for a picnic. Customer service was cool. Damn nearly pee'd my pants though lol thankfully next door had a restroom. We thoroughly enjoyed our birria! It definitely hit the spot.

We are new to the area so it was nice to check out the surrounding area. There is plenty of parking nearby and other shopping plazas on the same street. Tacos Jaliscos is small taco shop located on Tweedy Blvd. My son and I showed up to pick up our order and we were greeted by a friendly couple who I'm assuming are the owners. I informed them that I was there to pick up our "To good to go" order and the male owner didn't hesitate to start getting our order ready. My son and I took a seat and we were checking out the decor and ambiance. Tacos Jalisco feels like you're in someone's home. The artwork and decorations really capture the Mexican flavors incorporated in their food. The owner brought my son and I a Jamaica (Hibiscus) drink which was refreshing and not overly sour or sweet but just right. We checked out their menu and Tacos Jaliscos is serving more than just tacos. This small sit down restaurant offers a vast variety of menu items. They sell typical Mexican breakfast/lunch dishes but they also venture out a little and offer fusion items like Birria Ramen, Carne Asada fries and Tortas de Camaron. We received our order in a timely manner and we headed home to check out what Tacos Jalisco hooked us up with. If you're not familiar with the 'To good to go" app it's a service that allows you to purchase "Surprise Bags" of unsold food at a significant discount. When I opened up the surprise bag I was pleasantly surprised to find a 3 taco meal order. They gave me 2 shredded chicken tacos and one shredded beef taco fully loaded with toppings and sauces. The order also included rice and beans which were very flavorful. The tacos were very good as well the shredded beef taco was my personal favorite. My son on the other hand enjoyed the shredded chicken. The tacos were soaked in their juices and sauce which made them fall apart tender. I would definitely come back to this place to try out the other items on their menu. If you're on the "To good to go" app and see this place come across your feed definitely snag up a surprise bag. I also would recommend checking this place out on your own accord because the food is solid and the customer service is top notch.

Demanding as Mother's Day, when most places are overwhelmed, they still managed to deliver an experience that felt intentional and heartfelt. Despite the long wait, it was clear that the demand far exceeded expectations, yet the service never lost its warmth. At one point, she even offered me an agua fresca as a gesture of kindness while I waited. I respectfully declined, understanding that a day like Mother's Day comes with heavy volume and pressure, and that delays are simply part of supporting a small business doing its best under strain. What stood out most was the owner's presence. She carried herself like a mother to everyone there serving each customer as if they were family. She stepped away from her own personal time to make sure other families were fed and cared for. That kind of sacrifice and commitment is not just business; it's cultural preservation in motion. TACOZ brings authentic heritage flavors to the city in a way that feels irreplaceable. The tamales, carnitas, and overall food experience were deeply rooted in tradition and full of flavor that reflects generations of culture. People should understand that moments like this are not about convenience they are about supporting something real. On busy days especially, patience is part of respecting the work being done. Instead of criticism, there should be appreciation for what it takes to keep a small, culture-driven business alive and thriving. In the end, TACOZ delivered more than food. It delivered a connection to heritage, family, and community. That kind of experience is something worth valuing and protecting. Keep Going gurl ! I'll be back and so many of your audience ! Joel was enthusiastic and you could tell he loved all the food that was made in the place. Most places you'd walk in and not too many hosts or the owners really talk about what's good. He immediately said that everything was good. Just parking right there. I'm not usually the type to believe everything someone says. So I figure I'll try all the stuff I enjoy. Asked for each kind of taco. Carne asada, pastor, and tripas. Pastor and carne asada were good enough. But that tripas, was amazing. Probably the best I've had at any restaurant. The fat on all the carne asada was rendered nicely, so you're not sitting there chewing forever. The pozole was equally amazing, but I don't think I can give it a fair review as I was mostly full by the time I got it. Food was filling. Ambiance was great, it was a relaxed atmosphere. They didn't bother you about the food or anything else, since everything else was self-serve (which I like). Highly recommend giving place a shot. I'll definitely be coming back.
