It has chopped pork and refried beans inside of it. Its definetly unique and something you must try when in GDL. We ubered there at about 10am. When we arrived we were seated at one of the small table. This place is pretty much a food cart with some tarps that you sit under. Don't let the looks of it stop you from coming here. I ordered a torta ahogada and 2 tacos dorados and an horchata to drink. The food came out quickly. I got my tortas half hot sauce and half regular. They also have cups of both sauces on the tables incase you want more. They also have raw onions to add to your sandwich. Now this is a messy sandwich but you just need to say F it and dive right in. The combination of the flavors is delightful. And the birote bread they use has a nice crisp that holds up to the sauce drowning it. Absolute deliciousness! Now their spicy sauce is pretty hot. I was buying but loving every minute of it. The tacos dorados are crispy fried up tacos that were stuffed with potato. You can order the pork on top of the tacos and I highly recommend you do so. They drown the tacos with the same sauce too. They were very good. 1 torta plus 4 tacos and 2 drinks was about $13 american. Super cheap and super delicious. Everyone working was very nice and helpful. Once we finished we walked to the Centro which is only about a 15 minute walk. If you only have 1 torta ahogada this is the spot to come to. All the famous youtube foodies come here. This place has been here for like 50 years and there is a reason for it! I just got back to the states and thinking back on this place is making me hungry.

The food was better than great and simple. Service top notch to be such a tiny place with two cooks and a couple people helping from a nearby door kitchen. One of the best spots I have had here.
