Tacos al Gusto was a huge hit at our baby shower! Several people came up to me during the party and asked for their info because they enjoyed the food so much. The cook arrived right on time to set up, but he did end up serving the food about 25 mins later than expected. However, the one cook (our party was for about 50-60 people) had NO trouble setting up all of the food nicely and getting everyone quickly through the line. All you need to provide them with a 6 ft table and they bring the rest! We ordered pollo, asada, pastor tacos. All three meats were delicious. The package comes with rice, beans, salsa, chips, plates etc. We added on a large guacamole (made on site! Huge hit!), large tray of grilled vegetables (onions, bell peppers, zucchini...great for veg guests) and a watermelon agua fresca that was TO DIE for. I absolutely loved their salsas too. The best part? They pack up any leftovers for you after the party. Coordinating prior to the party, the owner was very communicative and quickly responded to my messages on Yelp. I had Tacos Al Gusto cater the surprise birthday party for my wife. I went with the steak, chicken and al pastor pork, then added grilled veggies and guac. Setup was great, and food was served on time. The food was delicious. I had a lot of compliments, and some of the guests asked me where I found them (Yelp). I think my favorite was the pork with the spicy red salsa. We had about 20 adults and 10 kids, and everyone was stuffed. Service was very efficient (a good thing), and everyone had eaten all they wanted about an hour into service. Our taco guy (I don't think I got his name) was very nice. These guys were great. Our friends were getting married and looked into a bunch of different food options. I am very happy that they picked Tacos Al Gusto. They arrived on time, had a nice and easy set up, cooked everything on site and helped make the wedding reception memorable. The food was amazing. I sampled every meat option that was offered and really enjoyed everyone of them. The carne asada and pastor were probably my favorite. Also, I liked how I was able to request a plate of meats only, since I can't do tortillas while low carbing. The salsa's that these guys offered were damn tasty. The red sauce definitely packed the heat and I think I went through a bottle of the green sauce by myself. Everything was just so good, I even liked how they had diced cucumbers that worked really well in taming the heat of that spicy red sauce. My sister and brother-in-law hired Tacos Al Gusto to cater their baby shower over the weekend. We were expecting around 60-70 guests. They said they discovered them when their neighbor hired them for a party. My sister already has a regular taco lady that she uses and used her for her birthday party last year. However, once she tried the food from Tacos Al Gusto, she changed her mind and decided to go with them instead. Their prices were similar so it was an easy decision. The guys arrived early so they could set up and start prepping all the food. We got 3 different meats: Carne Asada (steak), Al Pastor (pork), and Pollo (chicken). The sides included rice, beans, grilled peppers & onions, and picked red onion. They also had plenty of condiments to chose from including a green salsa and spicy red salsa. I have to say... the food was a lot more flavorful compared to the taco caterer my sister used last year. I'm glad she went with Tacos Al Gusto this year. I tried all 3 meats. AMAZING! These guys catered my dad's surprise 60th bday party last night and did an incredible job! I couldn't have asked for anything more! First off, Steven, who I communicated with throughout the entire time was great. Very informative and I felt at ease knowing that they were going to be taking care of the paper goods, rice, beans, etc. They arrived RIGHT ON TIME and set up within an hour or so, making fresh salsa, meats, etc. When all my guests were there and we were ready to eat, they were quick to get tortillas heated up for us. They were very professional and set everything up and started cooking before i even got there. The meat and all was prepared at the time they said it would be.
