Ordered take out. The works bowl with chicken was not good. Just a big bowl of mush, no other texture except soft. Rice, beans, corn, even the chicken was mushy. The meats were so flavorful and juicy, fresh ingredients, and unique flavor profiles with their unauthentic offerings. The braised beef street taco was my FAVE. Tacos! I wanted tacos, I ate tacos! Stopped in at 8pm on a weeknight and ordered three - one chicken, one beef and one pork. Delicious. The pork one had the best flavor but they were all pretty good. Topped with chopped onion, cucumber, corn and with little bits of lime for squeezing. Fabulous. Yes, I looked at the health report. I had no problems here. The tables were clear and the kitchen looked clean. I saw the staff put on fresh gloves. Topped with guacamole, tomato, onion, sour cream drizzle, pickled jalapeño, pickled red onion (nice touch!) Lots of flavor and definitely could be a 1 person meal. My husband hit 3 street tacos: chicken, shredded beef and pork. These tacos were topped with cilantro, onion, and I think a white Mexican cheese. Excellent. Not dry, very juicy, flavorful and cooked perfect. I had the pork Works burrito; loaded with everything that was on the nachos with refried beans! Amazing, huge, and filling! Our friend had a Chicago taco, super juicy and the Corn taco, very juicy and big corn nibbles. Drinks consist of beer, wine and fountain drinks made with real sugar, no high fructose corn syrup. So yummy! Love a fast casual taco joint. The staff was super friendly. The place is cute. They have all the hot sauces. Minus points for not making their own salsa or queso. But the queso is yummy even though it's not homemade. I had the buffalo chicken, and Chicago beef taco. I could eat like 2 more Chicago beef tacos. It's like a beef sandwich without the guilt. Ordered Taco Works for the office today via GrubHub. We ordered some tacos, several "The Works" burritos and nachos. Everyone was very happy with their orders. They did a great job following the requests on Grubhub and it arrived on time. I had to take away a star because the beef on the nachos was too salty, especially when paired with the tortilla chips which only exacerbated the salt flavor. Everyone else who ordered chicken and pork though were very happy. We will definitely order again. read more

Absolutely delicious! I had the shredded chicken nachos with a side of guacamole, and my husband had the pulled pork "works" burrito. Both were fantastic! The service was super warm and friendly. I do have some feedback: The nachos had a problem. THE BEST problem. The fixings were so generous that it was hard to find the chips (though they were plentiful as well). A fork solved this issue. Do note- this could easily feed two "regular hungry" people, and absolutely stuff one hangry teenager. The pork burrito was moist which made it absolutely delicious, but a little messy. I am of the opinion that if you aren't wearing your food you didn't really enjoy it, so they scored points there. The guac was SO GOOD. The chips were perfect. Their house hot sauces were also delish. Our favorite was the garlic. Is it "authentic" Mexican cuisine? Nope, and they don't advertise as such. Only wishes (not critiques): -Salsa Verde. It would SLAP on their chicken and pork. - Low-top tables inside. I'm short and don't love dangling feet; the only options under AC are high-tops. This is a hidden treasure. The restaurant is behind the Main Street but is well worth the trek behind the building. The tacos are non traditional street tacos and are very tasty. I ordered 3 streets tacos (one beef, one chicken, one shredded beef). They were mid with the beef one having the most flavor. No corn tortillas which I thought was kind of weird and there was no lime wedge which usually comes with street tacos. There was also no salsa verde or rojo which was kind of weird. I did try to garlic hot which was good. I also tried their house hot sauce which tasted like red hot. Rice and beans lacked flavor. Same with the street corn. The queso was good. Customer service was good, the guy at the counter was super nice. I probably wouldn't go back but it wasn't the worst food I've ever had. read more

I have stoped in twice, they give you lots of food for the price. it was tasty. 1st time was with my grandson. 2nd time was with my companion dog, we ordered to go and was waiting. Then i decided to purchase a drink while we waited. Other patrons where nice. when order was done, I got it from server sat down to finish my drink, the server came over and said i was being nice letting you wait in here with your dog but you have to leave now. I said ok It was raining my drink was a mojito seltzer i had wanted to try, I i i got up took my food and my drink, Went out and went into Ollie's next to them. They where very nice. finished and left. I felt very hurt, Not once did my dog bark or move from me unless someone asked to pet him. we where patiently waiting. Restaurant is clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. The regular tacos are great, but the pork is very, very salty. The street tacos were literally covered in onions. The toughest thing when youngsters are in the kitchen is proportionality. They are oblivious to that part of the preparation. It's costly to the business and can ruin an otherwise good dish. I was hoping to like this place as a first-time customer, but unfortunately that's not the case. I didn't even get to taste the tacos because I was so turned off by the poor customer service. I called in my order for pickup and was told that it would be ready in 15 minutes. Well, it wasn't ready when I arrived. There were two people waiting for orders ahead of me. I would have patiently waited, because I really wanted to try the tacos. However, the cashier/hostess took awhile to even acknowledge me. After she finally did and I told her that I was picking up my order, i realized that it apparently wasn't ready and the slip didn't make it to the cook. I only found that out after listening to her conversation with the cook. After 5 minutes passed, then she told me that my order would be ready in a minute. So I'm thinking ok, maybe it's because she feels overwhelmed by the traffic (three customers) is why she failed to smile, greet me when I arrived or immediately tell me that my order was a little behind. However, as I waited, two more customers walked in and they were greeted very differently. I'm hoping that the representative just remembered to do so and that it wasn't because the new arrivals shared her complexion. I did see a "now hiring sign" in front of the restaurant. Hopefully any new hires will be properly trained in good, consistent and fair customer service practices. read more
