Ozzie & crew are local legends that just make the world a better place. Every location is fire and the speak easy is amazing.

Taco Works was incredibly disappointing. If tacos are in your name, you need to make a great taco. And theirs are not. At best they are fine, edible. The meat is not flavorful, and they do not have corn tortillas. They are extremely overpriced, especially for what you get. This did not meet our expectations, there are much better options in the area. read more

Very rare when i am so disappointed with food that i feel the need to write a review. But after a very long day & wanting to grab a quick bite on the way home.. this place was unacceptable. Between 2 of us, we spent over $40 for half of our food to be inedible. We got 5 tacos & 2 sides. The TINY tacos were falling apart to the point you couldnt even pick them up. Had to eat the taco fillings with a fork. The lukewarm sides were honestly gross. The street corn is absolutely nothing like street corn ive ever had. & the beans & rice had maybe 5 beans over a slightly flavored white rice. For not only the amount of food, but the quality especially, $40+ is unacceptable. Truly believe we wouldve had a better experience at Taco Bell, where we couldve gotten more food that was actually edible for half of the price. First time trying this place & i most definitely wont be back. If you want people to support local, maybe actually put effort into what youre serving. read more

This place represents the uniqueness in their menu, the value in their products and price and you can taste the love in every bite. The experience, the service the decorations, everything is why this place feels like home because I keep meeting and finding these jewels that are in paradise and I can walk to it. Thank you for being there for us for forty years. I am counting on many more because sharing joy is the best. read more

Ordered take out. The works bowl with chicken was not good. Just a big bowl of mush, no other texture except soft. Rice, beans, corn, even the chicken was mushy. No flavor, & they forgot the jalapeños. My husband just got 2 basic beef tacos and he said the beef was really mushy. I hate giving bad reviews, but save your money and go somewhere else read more

***this review is for the new downtown Fort Myers location*** FANTASTIC TACOS. We tried the new place on Thursday evening and omg did it exceed expectations! Absolutely delicious. The meats were so flavorful and juicy, fresh ingredients, and unique flavor profiles with their unauthentic offerings. The braised beef street taco was my FAVE. I also enjoyed the Korean beef & Chicken That Ziki (Greek style) taco. Honestly, watch out to the competitors downtown. Their guacamole was very good as well. read more

Tacos! I wanted tacos, I ate tacos! Stopped in at 8pm on a weeknight and ordered three - one chicken, one beef and one pork. Delicious. The pork one had the best flavor but they were all pretty good. Topped with chopped onion, cucumber, corn and with little bits of lime for squeezing. Fabulous. Yes, I looked at the health report. I had no problems here. The tables were clear and the kitchen looked clean. I saw the staff put on fresh gloves. It's Cinco de Mayo Where else to get tacos other than Taco Works! And with it being our first time, it won't be our last. We wanted no fuss, freshly made, low key; THIS IS THAT PLACE! There were 3-of us for lunch. We ordered pork Works nachos to share; fabulous. The chips were crisp and there was LOTS of shredded pork. Topped with guacamole, tomato, onion, sour cream drizzle, pickled jalapeño, pickled red onion (nice touch!) Lots of flavor and definitely could be a 1 person meal. My husband hit 3 street tacos: chicken, shredded beef and pork. These tacos were topped with cilantro, onion, and I think a white Mexican cheese. Excellent. Not dry, very juicy, flavorful and cooked perfect. I had the pork Works burrito; loaded with everything that was on the nachos with refried beans! Amazing, huge, and filling! Our friend had a Chicago taco, super juicy and the Corn taco, very juicy and big corn nibbles. Drinks consist of beer, wine and fountain drinks made with real sugar, no high fructose corn syrup. Inside seating is limited but there are outdoor tables with umbrellas! This is a local establishment and they are getting ready to celebrate their 1-year anniversary. Support local, they are worth it!! read more

So yummy! Love a fast casual taco joint. The staff was super friendly. The place is cute. They have all the hot sauces. Minus points for not making their own salsa or queso. But the queso is yummy even though it's not homemade. I had the buffalo chicken, and Chicago beef taco. I could eat like 2 more Chicago beef tacos. It's like a beef sandwich without the guilt. I will definitely be back! read more

Ordered Taco Works for the office today via GrubHub. We ordered some tacos, several "The Works" burritos and nachos. Everyone was very happy with their orders. They did a great job following the requests on Grubhub and it arrived on time. I had to take away a star because the beef on the nachos was too salty, especially when paired with the tortilla chips which only exacerbated the salt flavor. Everyone else who ordered chicken and pork though were very happy. We will definitely order again. read more

Absolutely delicious! I had the shredded chicken nachos with a side of guacamole, and my husband had the pulled pork "works" burrito. Both were fantastic! The service was super warm and friendly. I do have some feedback: The nachos had a problem. THE BEST problem. The fixings were so generous that it was hard to find the chips (though they were plentiful as well). A fork solved this issue. Do note- this could easily feed two "regular hungry" people, and absolutely stuff one hangry teenager. The pork burrito was moist which made it absolutely delicious, but a little messy. I am of the opinion that if you aren't wearing your food you didn't really enjoy it, so they scored points there. The guac was SO GOOD. The chips were perfect. Their house hot sauces were also delish. Our favorite was the garlic. Is it "authentic" Mexican cuisine? Nope, and they don't advertise as such. Only wishes (not critiques): -Salsa Verde. It would SLAP on their chicken and pork. - Low-top tables inside. I'm short and don't love dangling feet; the only options under AC are high-tops. There are standard height dining tables outside, though. 10/10, will eat there again! read more

This is a hidden treasure. The restaurant is behind the Main Street but is well worth the trek behind the building. The tacos are non traditional street tacos and are very tasty. The Street tacos, Asian tacos, Korean beef tacos, The Philly cheese, and That Zika tacos were outstanding!! The Works, and The Shell-less Burritos were outstanding!! Street corn, Chips and Salsa, Rice-n-beans, were fresh and warm. Great TASTE!! Food portions are huge for the price!! FORT MYERS LOCATION. I ordered the chicken burrito and got an over-priced onion and ground beef wrap with unmelted shredded cheese. It was the worst burrito of my life. It made Taco Bell look gourmet. Straight in the trash. This "burrito" plus a bowl was $30. What a joke-- Never again. read more

I ordered 3 streets tacos (one beef, one chicken, one shredded beef). They were mid with the beef one having the most flavor. No corn tortillas which I thought was kind of weird and there was no lime wedge which usually comes with street tacos. There was also no salsa verde or rojo which was kind of weird. I did try to garlic hot which was good. I also tried their house hot sauce which tasted like red hot. Rice and beans lacked flavor. Same with the street corn. The queso was good. Customer service was good, the guy at the counter was super nice. I probably wouldn't go back but it wasn't the worst food I've ever had. read more

Quirky little place with interesting menu but it was one of the, if not the best burrito I have had in Cape Coral so far.

I can't eat here anymore now that I've seen your health report. Now I get why we were all sick. Shame. Basic hygiene is the standard folks. Not sure why that's a problem. How about you learn and follow serve safe? Water. Soap. Actually washing hands. Not so difficult but the result of not doing so just makes people sick. Sad. read more

Wife & I went - we were unsure if if was a take out only place or had seating. We were prepared for both. Turns out it's both! Limited seating. We stayed and ate at the bar area overlooking the kitchen. I ordered the Works Burrito and my wife got a chicken burrito. We also got some queso and chips. We sat and watched our food being prepared and enjoyed a craft beer. My burrito was HUGE & delicious! Best one I've had in Cape Coral. I'm a big eater and could only finish half of it. The queso was hot and had a little kick to it. It was great! Tried some of their homemade sauces & they were excellent too. Awesome place! We'll be back. read more

I have stoped in twice, they give you lots of food for the price. it was tasty. 1st time was with my grandson. 2nd time was with my companion dog, we ordered to go and was waiting. Then i decided to purchase a drink while we waited. Other patrons where nice. when order was done, I got it from server sat down to finish my drink, the server came over and said i was being nice letting you wait in here with your dog but you have to leave now. I said ok It was raining my drink was a mojito seltzer i had wanted to try, I i i got up took my food and my drink, Went out and went into Ollie's next to them. They where very nice. finished and left. I felt very hurt, Not once did my dog bark or move from me unless someone asked to pet him. we where patiently waiting. I thought the server(owner) was being very friendly and kind. My bad! Won't be back. plenty of better places in cape read more

Restaurant is clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. The regular tacos are great, but the pork is very, very salty. The street tacos were literally covered in onions. The toughest thing when youngsters are in the kitchen is proportionality. They are oblivious to that part of the preparation. It's costly to the business and can ruin an otherwise good dish. We'll try again, but will avoid the street tacos and pork. read more

I was hoping to like this place as a first-time customer, but unfortunately that's not the case. I didn't even get to taste the tacos because I was so turned off by the poor customer service. I called in my order for pickup and was told that it would be ready in 15 minutes. Well, it wasn't ready when I arrived. There were two people waiting for orders ahead of me. I would have patiently waited, because I really wanted to try the tacos. However, the cashier/hostess took awhile to even acknowledge me. After she finally did and I told her that I was picking up my order, i realized that it apparently wasn't ready and the slip didn't make it to the cook. I only found that out after listening to her conversation with the cook. After 5 minutes passed, then she told me that my order would be ready in a minute. So I'm thinking ok, maybe it's because she feels overwhelmed by the traffic (three customers) is why she failed to smile, greet me when I arrived or immediately tell me that my order was a little behind. However, as I waited, two more customers walked in and they were greeted very differently. I'm hoping that the representative just remembered to do so and that it wasn't because the new arrivals shared her complexion. I did see a "now hiring sign" in front of the restaurant. Hopefully any new hires will be properly trained in good, consistent and fair customer service practices. read more
