We don't have this in California and it's the last on In Oregon, I always went to taco time when I was younger and I still love it. I ordered the crispy meat burrito and Mexi fries and a coke. I also like their chicken meat burritos. The service was great we went 2 times the same day had to get some to take back with us so we bought 100.00 worth of burritos to go. Wowsers! This was the first Taco Time we have tried, and it is FABULOUS! Absolutely the BEST!!! (And I DO mean compared to other Taco "fast food" restaurants.) There are LOTS of those around, but there are no Taco Time restaurants near us. Our WA state friends suggested we try Taco Time. OMGoodness, both my husband and I were PLEASED that we did and we were DELIGHTED!!! This was supposed to be just "buy a taco and try it", but we saw the fish taco advertised and decided to try it too. For a "treat", my husband also ordered the pumpkin empanada. The crispy beef taco was AWESOME! The shell was good sized, crispy and fresh tasting! There was LOTS of meaty beef in the taco, plus nicely shredded lettuce and topped with fresh, juicy tomatoes! It was absolutely delicious! Next we tried the fish taco. Okay, it DID look like a burrito, but it was nice, fresh tasting cod well cooked and not greasy! The veggies are cabbage and lettuce, plus some tomatoes with a nice sauce. Wowsers again, as this was a fabulous taco! Plus, it was good sized too! The pumpkin empanada was really, really YUMMY! It IS the season, and I DO love pumpkin, but not all seasonal foods are so good. This was above and beyond! The flavor is spot on, with the right balance of pumpkin and spice. It was creamy and delicious, all wrapped up in a nicely cooked, crispy shell. Totally delicious! Now I WISH Taco Time were local here, but I guess we will just have to go back to OR and WA, and spend some time at Taco Time too. (No pun intended!) read more

Where do I begin? We wanted to try the fish tacos. Placed the order with a nice young lady who had difficulty articulating the English language. Not bilingual, just inexperienced at speaking. Old funky oil smell when you walk in, but they do a lot of frying so that's to be expected. The fish in the tacos wasn't bad, but it was served in a cold uncooked flour tortilla. Not completely uncooked, just like pulled from a package you would get at the grocery store. Yuck. The crispy chicken taco was gross. We threw it out. Chunks of spongy weird chicken. Big sign on the wall describing their great , fresh food, and their homemade salsas made daily! Plastic hard-to-open packets. Nothing fresh. Pico de gallo on request for a price , not included with food. Not expensive, but not cheap. Two drinks and four tacos came to over 30 bucks. Mexifries are tater tots with seasoning I guess. All in all the worst food I have actually paid for in a long time. I don't know how they stay in business. read more

I love Taco Time, I grew up on it and will never stop eating it lol. The customer service here gets better every time I am in. I love going on Wednesday nights because of the closing staff and how amazing and upbeat they are. I have met the closing manager David on a few occasions and he is super sweet and even when busy takes every order seriously. Love the fact David and his staff are goofy as heck. David loves whistling tunes too different movies which makes the experience even more fun. But the food is always fresh and hot the place even as old as the building is, its always spotless and if there are dirty tables someone always rushes to clean them. The building and the menu are so outdated it's not even funny. if you're a taco time lover, the menu is not the same as a normal taco time so don't even disappoint yourself like I did. This is normally one of the best-run TacoTimes in Kahala's stable, however, this time was really, really strange. The cashier acted like he was super high and had a thousand-yard stare - didn't ask if we were ready to order or anything. Masking was non-existent, and the dining room was filthy. I've gotta go plus one on the stars, and go with a total of 4. This is totally related to the fact that this is a fast food Mexican place, not a traditional sit down. Compared to those I would have to go with 2 stars. But, if you are going to compare this with the closest thing around, Taco Bell, I really think these guys are light years ahead of the competition. If given the choice, I always opted for these guys over Taco Bell. Simple cheap Mexican food, but for fast food pretty flavorful. I'm not a fan of beans, so typically I'm going with straight up tacos. There's nothing wrong with the plain beef tacos here. If you want to go a step further and bring the likes of McDonalds, Wendy's and Burger King into the mix, I'm sticking with these guys all day! Again, it's fast food, you get what you pay for. A little fast food place on our drive to Florence. Good selection of meals. I got a chicken ranchero burrito or something like that and it was tasty. Almost like a real taqueria. My boyfriend got a crispy meat burrito and liked it as well. We'd go again. read more

It's fast food but I have always found the food fresh and hot. Service has been good. You have to go around back to use the restroom and it's cold and not updated. It is however clean. The restaurant is clean as well. Enjoy! read more

Alright this is standard greasy fast food fare, but if you're doing the I-5 run thru Oregon and need the local's version of Mexican American fastfood then this is the place. TacoTime is a TacoBell like competitor that started out in Eugene, Oregon. The Roseburg location is old, and a favorite hangout for the locals and the nearby highschool. It is also conveniently located off the I-5 freeway in Roseburg. Staff is friendly and effecient. They have some cool items not found at other fast food mexican places. Items to try: Crisp Bean or Meat Burrito. Shapped like a churro, this rolled taco has just the basic bean/meat and cheese inside. Perfectly sized for dipping into hot sauce. Mexi-Fries. Your basic tater tots with seasoning. Only in Oregon could this be called "mexi." Crustos - Your basic tortilla chips smothered in cinamon and sugar. read more

So consistent and good! Taco Time hasn't changed much in the 40+ years since I first had their food (other than the price!!!). Soft flour taco is still amazing...crisp bean and crisp meat burritos are fantastic! Excellent choice when driving I-5. Easy off, easy back on! read more

GARBAGE!!!!!! What has happened to Taco Time? I used to eat this food frequently but when they suddenly dropped the ball a couple of years ago I stopped. The only reason that I stopped in at this location was that I was on my way out of Roseburg and NOT interested in another burger. I ordered what I've always ordered: The Crispy Chicken Ranchero combo. For $9 I expect the thing to be made properly and as I was eating it I had a feeling that it was very. very wrong. It could have been the iceberg lettuce, the bacon, the complete lack of salsa, or the pre-cut and re-fried chicken that was in it. Gee, I'm just not sure... I didn't recall bacon ever being in this burrito so I took a look at the menu and it seems that maybe they made me the Chicken BLT Burrito instead. I'm not sure how they could have misinterpreted the two. I mean, one has BACON and the other doesn't. The tots were pale and under cooked. The ranch dressing had that gelatinous texture to it that indicates it is the bottled variety and not made in house. I don't know how the few Taco Times that remain still make money. I imagine that the CEO's sitting way up high figure that if they can't bring in more customers they can increase profit by simply raising prices. Heck, a whole lot of CEO's operate this way--screw improving the food! We'll make money by charging more instead. I, for one, won't be mourning this company's death. read more

As Taco Time experts (my sweetie loves the place, and drags me around to Taco Time's all over the territory to which they are indigenous) we find the Roseburg, OR branch to be acceptable but perhaps not up to the standards of some... The burrito was small, compared to the average TT burrito. The salsa bar consisted only of hot sauce and catsup. One could get salsa verde but would have to ask for it. Here it comes in tiny almost-impossible-to-open packets. Still, it's a Taco Time, and Taco Time lovers (and I know one of them...) will be happy eating here. read more

Friendly staff, fresh food, great sauce. Crispy pinto burrito with sauce is great. Wish we could get rid of Taco Bells in Cali and get some Taco Times to replace them. Casita Burrito is so much better the the Taco Bell burritos. Taco shells are made freshly through out the day, as is everything. Meat is actually cooked with seasoning, and not boiled like taco bell. However Friday 4th of Oct. 2019 at about 8:20pm I ordered 4 crisp meat boritoes 2 jr soft tacos (specifically said NOT the big tacos) and 2 medium cheddar mexi-fries with buttermilk ranch. Let me first say that I am not looking for a feebie here... You guys have already suffered from a poor employee... But this older lady was NOT even trying... Pretty hard to mess up the crisp meat boritoes but literally EVERYTHING else was wrong. Got the big tacos (should have guessed when it was $24.00).. Cheddar was barely melted on the tots... And got sour cream tubs instead of buttermilk ranch. I know you guys are better than that... I would rethink your choice of window help if I were you. Taco Time is more expensive then Taco Bell, but you get better food...more meat...way better sauce. Try the crisp meat burrito and eat it while it is hot with the original hot sauce on each bite. This is junk food at it's best. They also have a "natural burrito" with whole wheat tortilla, beans, rice, olives, sunflower seeds, sour cream and stuff..it is really good if you have to go meatless. If you can't decide, 2 crisp beef tacos will always get you thru. They have Coke products here and also sell their taco sauce by the bottle. read more

One of my favorite places in town. The original hot sauce is excellent! The tacos actually have meat in them. About twice as much per taco as Taco Bell. A must try is the deep fried burritos. Only draw back is little tomato on the tacos and $.50 extra if you want onions. read more

I've been coming here since I was little and this place has went soooo far downhill it's sad. The cashiers are so unfriendly, no thank you or even a welcome when you come in. The girl literally swiped my debit card and threw my receipt at me. I watched her throw her hands in the air when a customer pulled into the drive thru and she yelled loud enough 'JESUS CHRIST'. Apparently customers bother her. What happened to this place? The portions are stupidly small. I know you have to watch portion control but this was dumb.
