Wrapper is so dirty

Customer service has really waned. I did a mobile order before leaving home-takes 20 min to get there. I arrive and an order is being placed-I'm told they are working on my order at that moment by the young man at the counter. I sat down and waited 15 minutes & approached the counter to inquire about my food. They said they were just going to start it. My order was for asap and here it is 45 minutes later when I finally got our 2 soft tacos. I've come thru & will randomly tip these people cause they work hard & typically are on top of things but the manager was stressed & seemed overwhelmed. Disappointed cause I really dug this place-after eating our food we got a veggie taco w about a table spoon of black beans we requested instead of the pinto...this just sucks.

It's a very cold tortilla taco shell and coarsely chopped celery along with cabbage tossed in with a tiny strip of fish.

The ambiance is attractive and we were immediately greeted and seated upon our arrival. There is a private lot. I started with an exotic drink with mezcal and fresh blackberries since this is blackberry country. I forget the name but it is on the picture. It was delicious. The wife had Passion Fruit and it was also delicious. For entrees, the wife had chicken mole and did not care for it. The chicken was bone-in which is normally fine, but she did not care for this chicken. The mole was very spicy. There is a difference between flavorful with a kick or slow burn, but this was overtly spicy. She did not eat much and did not take it home. I had an exotic dish which I don't remember the name but it was essentially a chicken stew served in mortar bowl. Rice and black beans came on the side, but I added them to the stew to make it thicker. It was delicious. Very flavorful with a slow burn. If the review were based on this dish alone, it would be 5 stars. Our server was attentive and helpful. I liked the vibe and food more than the wife did, We are in Poulsbo only a couple of days so we probably won't return, but if we were here longer I would lobby for a return.

Stopped in for Taco Tuesday based solely on hearing this was a nearer place in town and im not here…read moretoo often. The restaurant itself is pretty interesting inside with graffiti type art on the walls and bright vibrant booths. I ordered 6 street tacos, 2 chicken, 2 chorizo, and two ground beef. All were incredibly delicious. I had the habanero hot sauce (which is a 4 out of 5 for them) on all proteins. Its SUPER good. Just the right amount of heat for me, but probably not for folks who are sensitive to hot foods. Had the Chile de Arbol on the chicken, and it went really nicely with that. Last I put some Chipotle on a ground beef taco, and while it wasn't my favorite, it still added a nice smokey flavor and mild spice. Overall, a very positive experience and a place I will certainly be back to!

I asked to place an order to go and the guy went in the back and asked whoever was there and came back and said no. His reason was because it was a slow day and "didn't feel like making more food". Never experienced anything like this before. You want great tacos and birria? Go to Jessicas Taqueria in Silverdale. Her business hours are legitimate and won't refuse service because of laziness. My husband and I came here last evening craving for some tacos. Growing up in the bay area in Cali, tacos are a huge hit and I can definitely say a small place like this in Washington really did their thing. Tacos were good. The birria tacos were okay but definitely were a little dry and definitely could've had more meat and cheese. The consomme was very bland so dipping the birria tacos in it didn't really make the tacos taste any better. Burrito was okay however, it was very flat. Flavor was definitely there and was really tasty. I just wish there were more ingredients added. Honestly it felt like I was eating a quesadilla rather than a burrito. My husband had cocktail which he liked very much and I had horchata. Horchata was good but a tad bit grainy. Our server was very nice! Service definitely was great. We were served our food very fast and even then the food was HOT! This spot is very compact and intimate. Would not recommend for larger parties 4+. All in all tacos were the star of the show. Would return just for the tacos only and horchata.

My wife and I got a rare spare moment to ourself yesterday afternoon. We chose to hit up Casa Luna…read morebecause it had been years since we had been there and we love Mexican. Wife had a chimichanga which she said was kind of meh. Nothing to write home about but not bad by any means. I had the shrimp fajitas with corn tortillas. The onions were caramelized to perfection. I will say just like every other Mexican restaurant they did not give me enough tortillas for all the filling they gave me. So par for the course there. When we arrived we were offered chips and asked if we wanted queso or quac with it. No mention of extra cost or even what they cost in general it was just asked as if those came with the chips. So my wife of course said yes because those sound delicious. THANKFULLY me being the sceptic clarified the cost and it would have been $25 bucks for queso and quac....so we just got the free salsa. I was just a little peeved that they were about to walk away and just let us pay that ridiculous price knowing there is no way the 2 of us could have finished such a thing. And then at the end just something to be aware of, not a huge deal, but the tip suggestions on the receipt were based on the price after tax so we just did our own math. But top as you please.
