The staff is always super friendly and very quick service. They have a salsa bar with about 6 different types of salsa and they all have a very different taste and heat level. I was livid because I did not expect them to charge this (without hesitation) and demanded a refund so I could pay with cash. Fish taco are my favorite and they go on special on Tuesday's too and they taste like the real Baja ones. I love this place! We visit Riverside several times each year. We make sure to stop here at least once on our visits. Is a very short walk from the convention center where we have events and nearby to most hotels. The staff is always friendly even though we bombard them with a large group of people. This taco stand is very welcoming. They offer seating inside and out and can accommodate large parties. However, seating is on a first come first serve, which is fine if they're not busy. We ordered the nopale tacos, Carne asada tacos with everything on them and the shredded beef flautas. I'm not a fan of nopales but my husband said they were good enough. As for the rest, for me it was just lacking in seasoning. Even though the meat was moist and tender it lacked in flavor. On the other hand, they did have some of the best salsa. First off the food is bomb! All the salsa are amazingly good and spicy the way I like it. Cute decor, menu matches terms for a gas station. Chili relleno good to perfection. Yummy I'll be back. So this is the second time I have found hair in my food first it was 2 days ago and now today. Both hairs were on carne Asada fries. It's disgusting having to do that 2x on the same week. The first time I thought maybe it was an accident it happens. But a second them seriously ?!!!My husband was a witness of both times and the length of that hair. Never again coming here. My only pet peeve is that there is a charge for credit card even if my bill came out to $17 - not sure what the minimum is for no fee (if there is such a minimum). If you like potato salad make sure to order their potato tacos. Large chunks of potatoes in a creamy mixture with kale(?) spinach (?) thin strips of nopalitas(?) chilis (?) in a warmed corn tortilla (yuck!). Had Taco Station's potato tacos years ago and they were traditional potato tacos - deep fried corn tortilla with a spread of mashed potatoes and the traditional toppings.
