We came here for a going away dinner for my friend who's sadly moving back to Florida. He's the one who suggested this place, and I'm guessing cuz it was close to his house! This particular Taco Mac is pretty large. Lots of TVs for watching sports and such with a big bar. Typical Taco Mac set up. I haven't been to a Mac in a while, and am totally into wings now, so I was excited to try them. They ended up tasting just okay to me. Maybe it was the sauces, plus I like my wings really crispy. I also ordered some shrimp tacos, and they were decent but not amazing in any way. The sweet potato fries were okay, at least they were crispy. My boyfriend got the grilled chicken along with broccoli. Boring! Guess he liked it, but it's hard to screw that up. I guess for a place to watch some sports with some friends, this isn't a bad choice, but the food wasn't the best. And if you want wings, I'd definitely be going elsewhere. A neighborhood favorite . Just went for dinner. A-lot of parking and they play the sound on games majority of the time. The bar tenders are friendly and make a-lot of suggestions. They change flavors of wings a-lot and take some flavors off the menu. The oven roasted wings are a hit for me. Bit i ordered the shrimp tacos this time. We stopped here because the place looked rather inviting and I could sell the food outside! I enjoyed my salmon plate even though it was a rather small proportion ....it was delicious and my daughter enjoyed her shrimp taco and cat fish taco they were a good size. I enjoy the spinach artichoke dip the manager/host was very nice though I told him I didn't want any ice in my glass of water and also ask him to take the order of fries off and he forgot but I paid for it anyway. When in this area, I would definitely recommend this venue. Plenty of tv screens with a large variety of sports events displayed. The noise level was what was expected of a sports venue. It was clean and the service was quick. We chose to sit outside. The table was clean and the tv's were available just as inside. Less people and good spacing. Our server was very kind to my granddaughter and us. She was friendly and above all quick with our order since we knew exactly what we wanted. We picked up a large order and the food was old, sour - overall poor quality and Stefan literally said "oh well" and disconnected the phone. The best Taco Mac in the North Atlanta area! The food always pulls through at this location. My boyfriend and I get the grilled chicken plate and oven roasted wings every time we go to Taco Mac. The Brussel sprouts are the BEST! The portions here are also much better than other locations. We really appreciate our server KD who goes above and beyond for us each time. This taco Mac was very clean and accommodating to seating everyone spaced out. We love Going here for game days. I got the veggie quesadilla, and it was great! All the food we ordered came out at once and it was all warm/hot. I actually spilled my entire drink on myself at the beginning of this visit, but our waitress Jessica was very sweet about it, and brought me napkins/rags, and a whole new drink. Taco Mac is really a great lunch place when you have a group of coworkers. There really is something for everyone on the menu here. The Prado location was really quiet when I went there. Server was super nice and all our food was very good. I opted for a semi healthy meal of salad with fried buffalo chicken in medium sauce and heck, give me the blue cheese dressing. We had a group of 15 because we were celebrating multiple birthdays. There was only one waitress serving our entire table and we made it clear that we had reservations for an activity. We had an hour and a half from the time we arrived to when we needed to be at the activity reservation. The waitress was very nice and doing her best but it was clearly too much for her by herself. We were almost 30 minutes late to our reservation and two people at the table did not receive their food. The waitress brought their dinners (both were comped) in to go boxes right before we left. Unrelated, the credit card reader was also down and the waitress tried for over 20 minutes and five different credit/debit cards before she could get a receipt. We did one check to make it easier, but it took way longer than it should have. I really wish a manager had come and apologized for the slow service, the missing meals, and the long wait. Again, they comped the two missing meals that they provided in to-go containers but two people didn't get to eat dinner after almost two hours. Very sad that there was not good distribution of staff to help our waitress. We will probably not go to another Taco Mac when we do birthday dinners again. Me and my bf go to this Taco Mac probably every other week. They are always fast and friendly and have great customer service. Go to order are the Chicken Nachos and some wings. Manager always comes by to check on us and is super friendly. They are usually pretty busy on game days. Never had any bad experiences. Love going here and look forward to coming back each time. read more

I ordered a buffalo chicken sandwich, "Wing sauce, blue (sic) cheese crumbles, lettuce, tomato, toasted brioche bun." The food at Taco Mac is delicious. This is not our first time here. Matter of fact, each time we have someone visit from out of town, we bring them to dine here. We have always had great customer service, expecially at this location. Tonight I ordered a 6-pack of wings. I had them cooked the orginal way with them tossed in medium sauce. Yummm.... My hubby ordered a 6-pack of the new flavor "wet lemon pepper ". He also ordered us the appetizer of fully loaded nachos. This one is called "the train wreck". The Sandy Springs Taco Mac in the Prado Shopping Center has the same great menu items as the others. Lots of big TV's with a variety of sports events inside and on the patio. Service was average, friendly but a little slow. The wedge salad was excellent and TM's blue cheese dressing is thick, creamy and has chunks of blue cheese in it. The original bone-in wings are crisp and there are a variety of sauces ranging from mild and sweet to very hot and peppery. Great selection of beers, too. read more

This review should be titled the $500+ bad decision! This was going to be a 3 star review, because it was a 3 star dining experience. The food was good (not great) and the service was ok (even if our server did spend all his time complaining to us about how he wanted to go home). My burger was good enough and the wings were ok, do yourself a favor though and don't order the sangria (if comes in a twist off coke-style bottle, no fruit no anything, feels like ordering a soda). A decent visit to Taco Mac at this location. We came in on a Saturday night for my sister in law's birthday dinner. A very accommodating location if you have a large party because he had about 20 people in our party. We arrived around 7 with my family of 4 and most of the party was already there. We were greeted immediately by our server and took our drink orders promptly. I would probably give our servers a 4 star, they were checking on our large party constantly and kept the beers coming at our request. My son had some mini corn dogs which are his favorite here. My wife had the philly cheese steak and I went with 10 wings. One thing that has always been a knock on Taco Mac wings was the lack of sauce and the fact that they charge you for extra sauce. Still, the wings are a decent size and cooked pretty well. Some of our party shared some appetizers like spinach dip, cheese dip, and guac. Cheese dip was nice, spinach dip was good, but stay away from the guac. Meh at best. Overall, the great service made an ok food experience above average. Parking at this Taco Mac is fairly small and a struggle at times if you don't luck into a spot or parking across the way at the bank after they're closed. read more

My good friend and I stopped here last Sunday for a very late night snack and a good conversation. It was about 11pm, so we came in late when the place only had about a dozen or so patrons spread throughout. They had two bartenders on our side, with just four customers at the bar. The male bartender brought us menus after about three minutes, and after we decided what we wanted, it took about 10 more minutes, we had to wave a few times to get some attention. Seriously, this shouldn't be the case this late at night. I have to admit, the service could have been much better. After we ordered, the food did come within a reasonable time, my friend had a sandwich and I had the wings, which were very good. This is a very nice location, for anyone who loves sports, this is probably the perfect spot, as I counted 40 LCD's, but they might have 50. Seriously, perfect for anyone who wants to live inside the picture tube. If the service was better I'd rank them higher. Being someone who has been in the service industry for many years I expect what has always been expected from me; acknowledgement, professionalism and excellent service. After all, tips depend on it. You can find this location of the Taco Mac (or T-Mac as they seem to be rebranding) at 5600 Roswell Rd, Ste 3, Sandy Springs Georgia 30342 at the Prado. Parking is along the streets or in the parking decks (parking is free at either). Typical of the other Taco Mac locations, the interior is a fairly dark affair even with windows lining some walls and probably due to the lighting and black ceiling. But you don't come here to enjoy the sights outbound to the parking or street - instead you come for the many, many TVs showing any manner of current sports, the extensive beer selection and pretty much the wings. My previous visits had me enthralled by the pour-count taps at many of the tables. Basically you sit where the taps have something agreeable to the table, set things up with the staff and get blistering drunk with non-stop beer guzzling action. Unfortunately those taps have been removed (or perhaps it's a good thing). Otherwise there isn't much distinctive to this location if you don't count the Fred (ask about it after you join Brewniversity). This night I ordered Founders Double Trouble to start - quite good. Speaking of Brewniversity, once you sign up you can show the server your card and the app keeps up with the varieties of beer you drink. There are thresholds that provide you with prizes (you usually get a shirt for signing up - of course I never got mine). This thing is cool when it works - or perhaps I should say it's cool except when your server forgets to run your card or even better, doesn't give your card back (happened to me at this location, first I didn't get my card and asked for a replacement online, waited and tried using it on my last visit and none of my drinks were registered). And if that last seemed a bit of a jab at the servers, you got it. While the service at some of the locations is very good (the Ashford Crossing location, for instance), this location seems to be a bit off and very inconsistent for me. Better to sit at the bar as the bartenders have it together. As usual my group went for the wings and from the last time I visited I got "the trick" - try the wings roasted instead of fried and get a side of the Three-Mile-Island or even better, the Slow Burn sauce. That's a true winner and elevates the common wing to new heights. We also had both the sweet potato and regular fries which are hard to beat. I ordered several different stouts or chocolate porters on this occasion - I tend to focus on the draft selections - all were exceptional. The Ob the Gubna was quite strong but well balanced with delicious accents; the Starr Hill Boxcar Pumpkin Porter - was better than I thought it would be (I really don't like flavored beers but this one worked). In all the service was good (we sat at the bar) and the wings good and my expectations met. Otherwise this is a solid 3 of 5 stars. (Also published to my food blog) read more

This is one of the most crowded Taco Macs, but also one of the coolest with the digital draft beer tables. There are maybe 4-5 of these digital draft beer tables in the center of the restaurant, where you can choose a few beers to try, and have them sent to the table's system. From there, you can fill your own glass from the "tap" and it will digitally count how many ounces you fill your beer pint with. Pretty cool concept, although the tables aren't usually available... Service isn't bad, although slow when busy. Chicken Wings were great! Blackened fish tacos were highly recommended by the server and were less than impressionable. Great place for unhealthy food in a decent environment. My tortilla was cold never "grilled" the chicken was end scraps and cold and almost nothing. and even the skewer couldn't hold it together. Oh and the fries were cold and soggy.
