So, I chose to go here for my 45th birthday lunch. Big mistake! It was awful! I ordered a buffalo chicken salad. Not good. Had a piece of hair in my nachos and when I told the manager, all she did was apologized . (Jenna the MANAGER) did not give great customers service. I had to complain twice to receive something for the hair in my food. She NEVER offered a replacement for my food or a discount . She only offered a $2 discount on a $20 ticket AFTER I told her I was dissatisfied. But the waitress Christie was AWESOME ! She wanted to make sure my table was ok ! The worst experience I ever have in any "sports bar" they take too long for everything, we where 4 ppl over 35 years old one of my friends ID was expired the manager tell us he can't have a beer so he ask for ice tea but the reason we where there was to watch a soccer match but before half time he changes the channel why, we don't know why but any way he have couple tv's on the game so we stay, my friend the one without ID took a sip of a beer because he never got his drink and we have chicken wings so the only thing to drink on the table was a beer we never tough was a big deal but the manager Keith he came to us an star to yield at us that we need to leave because we break the rules because my friend took a sip of the beer, I try to talk to him on a nice way but he just keep yelling and when I ask for his name he just put his name tag like a inch from my face and tell me I better leave, is more my friends and I we on the parking lot talking and laughing about what happens and guess what he call the police on us , never I will be back to that place the worst service and the worst manager ever, manager like that make a place go down, I know because I own a restaurant!!! read more

I never leave reviews but it felt necessary to leave this one. Denisha, our waitress, is pretty much the only reason I come back to this shithole all the time. The service is great but the management is extremely rude. They argue with their servers in front of customers. They complain when customers are there for a "long time". The manager, Ken, asked my friend right AFTER she ordered food "if you are not ordering food then you need to leave, you have been here too long". Our server Jameelah was awesome however the food was awful, the burger was burned then the cook told our waitress its supposed to be like that. After asking for the manager THREE times he finally comes out and tells us he saw the burger come back and said it was horrible. 45mins later were still waiting on the manager who instead of helping us is blaming his waitress for us being upset. Awful service all around starting from walking through the door. My party of 2 went in at about 3pm yesterday and was waiting with another party of 2 for over 10 minutes just for someone to acknowledge our presence because there was no hostess to greet us. It was not packed at all. Both parties asked for a booth and were told it would be a few because she had to clean them off. There were many open booths and several were cluttered with dishes. We waited an additional 15 minutes to be seated at a wet booth that we, ourselves, wiped dry. We were told our server would be with us shortly. That didn't happen because our server never came. After 15 minutes of watching servers whiz by one finally stopped and asked if we'd been attended to. We told her no and she said she'd get someone. Another 10 minutes later a server that we'd previously seen whiz by multiple times stopped and took our orders. We ordered our meals and I ordered a Georgia Peach Tea cocktail. After about 10-15 minutes she brought out our water and coke but no cocktail. So I presumed it was in the process of being made. Fifteen minutes later she came over and said our food was almost finished and I asked about my drink and she forgot I had ordered one. Ten minutes later she brought my drink with a sliced lemon that still had the sticker on it and about 15 minutes after that she brought out our food. I saw several customers with more people at their table who were seated well after us but got their food out before us. Our orders were simple; wings n fries and fried chicken sandwich with a side of broccoli. Afterwards, we ordered dessert to go, a slice of key lime pie and cheesecake. Nice slice of cheesecake and the world's smallest slice of pie. When I asked if all the slices of pie were this small she laughed and agreed it was pretty small. We waited and she bought out a an actual slice. I have no desire to return to that location again. The subpar customer service ruined our experience! read more

This is a newer Taco Mac, the food is fine. Nothing incredible but nothing bad. The main issue with this restaurant is that the service has the deserving reputation of atrocious. I'm giving this location 1 star for the following reasons ; *This place has Horrible Service. When me and my gf got there at 1st we were seated by the bathroom . We were uncomfortable sitting there so we moved to the bar . The lady Faith was really disrespectful and when we were asking questions she ignored us and was moving fast . Went to lunch in McDonough today with my husband and we were greeted with smiles and welcomed in. The server we had today was terrible, we asked for refills on our drinks ( tea) and it took over 20 minutes and when she returned she had our drinks in to go cups, took our food off the table, I had not completed my meal and she threw the boxes on the table stating " since y'all had to wait so long for drinks I know y'all ready to go". I asked for a manager and the young lady who finally came out said she wish she had known earlier and she would have discounted our meal. We didn't want a discount we wanted better service, less attitude and the food we had paid for. We paid our check and left. We will not return as service is key to us. read more

We hadn't gone there in 6 months because the service has always been slow. Well today we tried it again....for the last time. The TV audio was so loud I had trouble hearing what people were saying. Should it take 15 minutes to get your drinks from the bar? Well ours took 20. And they tasted stale when we got them or they brought us the wrong ones. Unsure. And they have the highest priced beers in our area. The menu is very limited and what we ordered wasn't bad but lacked anything special and took a long time to be served. Given that we have a lot of choices in this area I see no reason to waste my time here again, which pains me because this is the closest bar and grill to my home. Oh. My. Gosh. Listen. First, to clarify, we were only a table of 3. The food here is fine. It's really not THAT bad. The chicken fingers and the queso appetizer are both really great. BUT. This location is AWFUL. The manager, the staff, everything, is just awful. We sat down, and got our drinks pretty quickly. We also got an appetizer and the timing was fine. We ordered our food and by this time most of the people in the restaurant were starting to leave. It wasn't very crowded. Time after time food was brought past us and taken to other tables. More people came and were seated, some people right beside us, with the same waitress. We kept waiting.. after like 25 minutes the waitress came over and said our orders were next up. 30 more minutes go by and the people who were seated next to us AFTER we ordered.. got their food! We instantly got irritated. More people around us who were seated after us were getting their food also. The waitress expressed apology and told us she would go reprimand the kitchen staff and get the manager to come to our table. The manager took his time with coming to us, probably another 10-15 minutes, and the burger was incorrect. He dropped off the food and took off quickly. No cheese for some reason.. By this time we were already ready to leave because the TV volume was turned up way too high and it had been almost an hour and a half of sitting in this noisy booth. We asked for to-go boxes and the check. They only took off two of the drinks, and it was bizarre. The manager did not express apology at all and didn't even take a moment to talk to us. Obviously the kitchen staff got the orders mixed up a lot, but the least they could have done is pay for our meal or even come to speak with us! I read some poor reviews while researching where to grab a bite to eat. I thought I would try Taco MAC anyway, I was in the mood for sports and wings. I am glad I did. The restaurant was packed on a Wednesday night. I was seated at a high top in the bar. The TV's were awesome and plenty of them. I had an appetizer, cueso blanco (I think) cheese with beef, onions, jalapeños and pico, it was very good. I ordered wings with one of their seasonal sauces that the waitress recommended, also excellent. Their beer menu was extensive. The service was excellent, waitress kept my drink full and checked back in a timely manner. Cleared the empty dishes and was very accommodating. The manager stopped by to make sure everything was OK. The first thing I noticed was the sticky floors. After making my way to a table I sat there for about 10 minutes before a server finally came to me. This was my first time coming to this particular Taco Mac location. Honestly, everything, including the alcoholic beverages, was pretty mediocre except for the wings and the ranch dipping sauce. My friends and I ordered ten wings - 5 were Korean Black Garlic and the other 5 were Honey Chipotle. The wings came out fresh and hot with lots of seasoning and sauce. I ordered a grilled chicken quesadilla with an Ole Smokey Hooch Punch. My friend also ordered the grilled chicken quesadilla with an Ole Smokey Hooch Punch even though he wanted the Cucumber Limeade; he was later informed by our waitress that they were out of limes. My other friend ordered the smoked salmon with the Korean Black Garlic seasoning and a side of fries with a Lights Out Lemonade and a blackberry sweet tea. We probably will not come back to this location due to the fact that everything was either bland or the food was lukewarm. read more

I am writing to you concerning your location at 1300 Hwy 20 West, McDonough, GA 30253. I have had issues the last three times I've been in. My husband and I normally go to this location every two weeks. I will start with our first incident about a month and a half ago. We ordered the TMac queso. When it came out, it was VASTLY different from how it normally is, there were red peppers in it and it tasted more "south westy", and it was so stringy that we had to use our fingers to part the cheese on the chips. I brought it to the manager's attention and asked if the recipe had changed and I was told no. I then waited for my main course meal, a burger, which I had asked to have done Medium-Well. It came out and it was rare. I took one bite and nearly threw up. I asked for it to be taken away. I had it taken off my bill as I didn't want it. Fast forward two weeks and I went back in with my husband. We were seated and waited nearly 15 minutes before our server ever approached our table. It was not that busy in there. When the server FINALLY came to our table he said that no one told him he had a table. The rest of our visit went fairly smoothly. Then today, we went in. The server came to our table and took our drink order fairly quickly, brought us our drinks and took our meal order fairly promptly.I am sorry, I didn't catch her name. We got our appetizer, and my husband finished his drink. The server didn't come back to refill his drink for about 15 minutes. And we waited....and waited....and waited for our main course. Again, it was not that busy. FINALLY about 45 minutes after we got there, our main course was brought to us. About 10 minutes later, the server came along and asked if I needed a box, which I did. She brought it. Then my husband and I waited...and waited....and waited....and waited about 25 minutes for our server to come back with our bill...and she never did. Finally we threw money on the table and left. On my way out the door I told the manager, Mary, a shorter African American lady with long black/purple hair, that our service today was deplorable and that I would be posting a review online about it and that I would be filing a complaint with head office. She looked at me and smirked and said oh thank you so much. I said, you do realize that that's not a good thing, right ? It was bad, terrible...she said nothing. I walked out FURIOUS and FUMING!!! I am so disgusted and upset about my experience there that I will not set foot in the establishment again. There has been a total lack of organization at this location since it opened about a year ago, however things are getting worse and worse. The service there is horrendous. Oh my goodness.... how do u spoil French fries? My son wanted to try Taco Mac so I obliged him. We ordered honey BBQ wings with fries, a bowl of chili, a philly cheese steak sandwich, a hickory burger and a side of Mac and cheese. The fries were horrid- dry, cold and bland. The guacamole was tasteless. The strawberry lemonade was like watered down fountain fruit punch. Mac and cheese looked good but that's all there was to it. Chili awful as well as the cheesesteak. My trip there was with my wife and her parents. The atmosphere was nice during our lunch time visit. I ordered lemon pepper and they were too salty. It was the saltiest chicken I'd ever eaten.
