We also got a small side of guacamole ($6.50) to enjoy with our complementary chips with salsa. First, the chips with salsa. The chips were very good, on the thicker side and slightly salted. The salsa had a rich tomato flavor with a few chunks of jalapeño, but the salsa could have been generally a little spicier for my taste - maybe more jalapeño? The guacamole was mostly smooth with a few chunks, and was tasty. I enjoyed my fish fajitas. A piece of fish, salmon and 6 small shrimp cooked with a decent amount of grilled green pepper and onion. Nice portion ($16.75) and came with a large separate plate with pico, guac, refried beans, rice, lettuce and sour cream. Three flour tortillas accompanied the dish. The carne asada ($13.99) came with two nice sized pieces of grilled beef, grilled onions and grilled jalapeños and mushrooms. Also came with the rice, refried beans and other sides, including the flour tortillas. My partner found the carne to be slightly tough, but flavorful. Service was good. When we sat, the server soon brought over the chips and salsa and our food came fairly quickly after we ordered. We had to ask to have our empty water glasses filled, although the server did come over twice (when our glasses weren't yet empty) during our meal to ask if we wanted anything. The restaurant is small and not fancy. The prices overall look reasonable and I think there are options to try different things here, based on the extensive menu.

The vegetables were not crisp and perhaps even frozen. Even their chips were unusually bland?!? The server was not proficient in English, making it a bit more complicated as well. The interior was nice, clean, alive and perhaps a bit too loud for dining. Would eat here again if in the area, but only because there aren't many other choices. Should really step up their game because the potential is there!

The restaurant is more of a open floor plan. Which I didn't really care for because it seems cheap and exposes most guests to others. But the food? Fantastic. Flavorful. Hot. Quick. Good prices. All of that. Their salsa is fresh and flavorful with the chips. I ordered the Quesabirrias. They were delicious. Crispy. Hot. And the meat was tender and the sauce and barria were good too. The Alambre was also very good and with fresh ingredients and sizzling. They have a very vast menu so it is difficult to make a choice, but you will not be disappointed. Service was okay. We waited quite a bit of time for our check, but food came out fast and we were seated quickly.

Service was friendly and food was made fresh and served pretty quickly. I had chicken tostados and my husband had a pork and a chicken taco. All fire!! The chicken had so much flavor! The vegetable options are limited, and that probably supports the authenticity of the place. The space is relatively small and attached to a small Mexican grocery store. The staff were very kind and on top of getting the order together in a short period of time. We placed an online order for takeout, and the overall experience went well. The restaurant is using an online ordering service I haven't heard of, which always feels like rolling the dice. In this case, everything went well and our order was ready exactly on time. In terms of the food, the vegetable sides were nicely done. The quesadilla was what it was. The vegetable option was uninspired, but I don't think the vegetable option was a priority for the restaurant. The vegetable fajitas was more of a block of cheese with some limited vegetables underneath, but it worked. Apply any required hot sauce and condiments. All told, I suspect this is a solid destination if you're aiming for a meat based option. It's a little bit of a stretch to try and find vegetable forward items. That's more of a me problem than a problem with the restaurant. It's certainly a better Mexican destination than I expected to find in Wexford.
