Taco Bell Soft Taco

Stopped by this location to grab my dinner today as I'm on the road for work again. Ordered 3 tacos and 4 burritos and it took well over 20 minutes with two workers and only one other order. While you might think that was, and the main reason for me posting the experience, due to laziness. But, sadly, no. They were just very, very slow. The reason for the post however was that my order was horribly wrong. No, it wasn't someone else's order, it was just wrong. What was wrong is that they didn't build my order in accordance with my actual order. Like with everything else in my life, my fast-food orders are exceptionally consistent as I really, really struggle with change. My Taco Bell order is always 3 soft taco supremes with extra cheese and 4 bean burritos with no onions and extra cheese. Now days, the extra cheese is $1, so it matters if they miss that. You can see in my photo, that I didn't get a taco supreme with extra cheese. I received a regular soft taco. In all, the mistake cost me about $8. More importantly, my dinner was wrong, and that sucked!!!

Cheddar Toasted Beef Chalupa

How did this place get bad reviews though? I totally don't get it. First of all, this might be the nicest and cleanest Taco Bell in the area and that I've seen too. And it's because it's still relatively new. So the interior decoration was nice, the tables and seats were clean when I went there, so I seriously got no complaints. The lady at the cashier was also friendly and nice to me. The soda fountain machine in the store was new looking too. My initial impression of this restaurant was nothing but super positive. So I visited Taco Bell because the commercial for the Cheddar Toasted Beef Chalupa was too tempting and mouth watering. So I obviously ordered that. For one order of the chalupa box, I got 1 chalupa and 2 crunchy beef tacos, all for only $5.99, and I got a drink. Seriously people. It was cheap. And chalupa was 450 calories while each crunchy beef taco was 170 calories. It was awesome. Yeah I'll be coming back soon.

I am a regular customer at this location and I always place my order online. I was there to pick my order, asked them if they have included the sauce with my order or not - no response I opened the bag and saw no sauce. I asked the person for sauce, and gave two packets of sauce. I asked for more as my order mentions more than 2 packets of sauce the person was so rude she took more two and threw it and had such a rude attitude. I don't really feeling visit this location any more. First thing is if I place my order online I expect things to be ready, every time I go I have to check if the order inside the bag is correct and the sauces are also added I would say 99.99% of the time sauces are missing. It's not my loss you just lost a customer now I visit another location but management needs to check into this.

My husband had the chile relleno burrito & I had the carne asada. They were both very flavorful & good portion of meat! The churro was good too! Great selection of salsa too ! All homemade. I got another Mexican place to go to in Dublin. One note though. They don't seem to have free water. I've never encountered this before & I believe California requires restaurants to provide this. Do what you want with this information.

ok - so I'll preface this with what I mentioned in my original review, which is that this place has…read morethe best salsa and I love pairing the Dorito pinwheel things with the green jalapeño creamy salsa. Now it gets weird. They ALWAYS used to include a mini cup of each of the salsas in my delivery orders. Last four delivery orders, they stopped giving the green jalapeño salsa. So because I love it so much, I specifically order an 8oz tub of it. Guess what they delivered? Not the jalapeño salsa but rather their other green one which is a garlic salsa. Could've reported it and received a DoorDash refund, but i left it alone. The last two deliveries, they also did not include the dorito pinwheels like they always do, so I drive there to get 'em. Even gave them $5 for something free, bc ya know - just helping a business out and the owner guy is nice and was apologetic. Now today, I was in the area, so i stopped in for a taco, agua fresca, a large bag of those pinwheel doritos and an 8oz tub of the jalapeño salsa especially because the salsa bar was empty and the other orange one i like was not made well this time. So watery yuck. The girl taking orders didn't seem like she was well versed in punching orders into their system. Took awhile for her to enter those 4 items I ordered and needed to grab one of the other staff to help her, but whatever - still tipped her 18%. Then, why in the world would they finish up my order then tell me they're completely out of the jalapeño salsa and then ask if I want an 8oz tub of another salsa? So at this point, it seems they're trying to do the same thing as when i ordered this specific salsa for delivery and hope i'll be ok with something else, right? It also looked almost performative when the girl opened the cabinet under the salsa bar looking for more jalapeño salsa before she told me they were completely out. I respond with "that's the only salsa I wanted. I can wait while they make more. can they make more?" she says no. twice. I let her know that I wanted to be refunded for the salsa and bag of dorito pinwheels. All of a sudden they magically found more jalapeño salsa. All of this to say I'm now absolutely convinced the staff is trying to hoard this specific salsa for whatever reason. Like i said, it's delicious, but not a reason to freakin hoard it for yourself when that's a reason your customers come back. I'll also add that the quality of the food these last two times around was no bueno. The amount of lengua and garnish in my taco was just sad. Literally, the taco I ordered today is the same taco I have pictured in my original review, but then opened it up when i got home and looked nothing like it did before. I've recommended this place to my coworkers and now I take it back and it seems the other Yelpers agree that this is no longer the place we loved. Definitely taking a break from this place. To the owner - I think when you're not there, your team is unfortunately letting you down and giving your customers a different food experience then what you provide and are known for.

My husband pushed me to get it on a sunday afternoon after church, and I am so glad he did. When we walked in, they were busy, so we took some time to look at the menu. The location is small, so I was standing next to people eating, and I saw someone had caldo de camaron, which looked delicious. Due to pricing, I decided to go with the Pozole (small). My kids always want quesadilla with rice and beans (no meat). They had a super quesadilla, just cheese, so we got them that with a side of rice and beans for them to split. The portions were perfect for my big boys. My husband got enchiladas rojas with asada. He loved the taste on all of it, but next time would probably get double rice, no beans. He's not a fan of beans, so it's just a personal preference. I got the STAR of the show, their POZOLE was 10/10. They brought it out before I could even get my drink, they were so fast. They didn't just bring the pozole, they gave me the works: oregano, chili oil, tostadas, radish, and cabbage to put on it. It was so delicious, I'm already planning to go back next sunday! My kids and I loved the food so much my 7yo made sure to leave a tip. Service was quick, friendly, and they kept the location as clean as they could. It was really busy in there.e but they got the food out within minutes. LOVE THIS PLACE. Edit: we loved it so much we went back this past Saturday and got more things to try. Loved the carne asada plate wouldn't change a thing. The caldo de camarón took a little while to come out but still delicious. Quesadilla con carne was STUFF with meat. It was basically a burrito.

The decor is a mix of Taqueria and retro-burger joint. I love that almost every table is a booth. The service was fast and you order at a window before finding a table. The salsa bar is also great. The tacos were awesome. Finely chopped meat that is cooked and seasoned to crispy perfection. They're also bigger than your average street taco. My wife enjoyed her veggie tostadas. My daughter loved the enchiladas and the bites she stole of my tacos. One standout to me was the refried beans. I had a bean cheese and rice burrito and it's one of the better ones I've ever had. My daughter also loved them on her enchilada plate. We will definitely be back next time we're in the area.

And i have visited at least four time. All during night time. The place is always very quiet and mute, service is dismissible. The employees that I have interacted with never smile. Which is a shame, most panaderias, per say, in San Jose, are usually very positive experiences. Not here. It's like they don't want to be there. Or maybe they're just too tired, nobody likes night shifts in food service. I get it. The pricing for this pan dulce is a tad bit more pricey than most places Ive visited. Even then, I wont take away that it is good quality. I've probably had at least 1/2 their types of pan they offer. Which why I have not stopped dropping by here and there, also, my son loves the dulce cuernitos.
