Their cashiers are always friendly. Been there at least 20 times. Food is consistent and good as Taco Bell normally is.

Recommended, will be back, and the food was great!…read more Sopes just might be my favorite Mexican dish, so I ordered the Sopes plate with carne asada, hot chocolate because it's been extremely chilly as of late, and a strawberry margarita. Hot and cold drinks together are the best of both worlds. It could be snowing outside and I'd still get a cold beverage. Love the clay mugs the hot chocolate came in. It kept hot while I focused on my marg. I thought I'd be able to body my plate because i was so hungry, but I ended up taking a sope home for leftovers, which was just as delicious the next day. Something really nice happened here. Apparently my margarita tasted too much like lime to who I assume is the owner, and he came by my table with another margarita on the house. That was thoughtful and something my friend and I really appreciated because who doesn't like a free drink? But seriously, it's the customer service behind serving something up to a standard that one feels confident in that really stood out. This looks like a popular spot. There were a couple people inside when I arrived, and several pick up orders. I love this area, or rather this small strip of restaurants and other stores along Solano Avenue.

This was recommended but I think it was a bit bland or at least lacking in verve despite choosing spicy salsa. I've definitely eaten much better. Good enough for locals maybe, but not worth seeking out.

I've always loved their fish tacos, which to me are better than any I've ever had in SoCal, including San Diego! Like their other permanent locations, here you will also find tacos with various fillings, lunch plates and other items. Walk on in and you'll find an airy clean open interior with high ceilings and plenty of seating and tables all around. Scan the laminated paper menu at the counter. The menu isn't big, but it's rather focused. No burritos here, just tacos, sandwiches (tortas) and big plates! Vegetarian/Vegan? There are several tofu-based offerings and a bigger salad too. Order up at the counter, grab a pager, find a seat, enjoy the Latin music over the speakers and before you know it, your order is presented before you. Trying to stay "healthy", I decided against my all-time favorite Baja fish tacos, and ordered the Pollo de Cholita plate. With this you get a big boneless chicken thigh marinated with herbs and mild spices with white rice, beans (black or pinto), a side salad of fresh mixed greens and three delicious fried plantains. The chicken thigh is flattened thin, but was totally moist and tender and most importantly flavorful and not overly marinated on the tongue. The rice with black beans and mixed greens in a light vinaigrette were the perfect neutral companion to the chicken, with the plantains providing a lightly fried sweet contrast and finish to the meal.. Suffice it to say, I loved this dish, and look forward to coming back!

Mind you, I'm in a different headspace when I come out of the gym, definitely hungry but flummoxed by guilt over excessive calorie intake after working out. Tacos can be fun, even tofu ones, and sanguches too, but I decided to go for what I surmised to be a healthy choice. It also turned out to be the priciest plate on the menu, the $14.65 Pollo de Cholita. I didn't regret my selection. It centered on a flattened boneless chicken thigh marinated in herbs & spices and grilled. It was surrounded by rice covered in pinto beans, a mixed green salad, and grilled plantains (Photo 7). Like my other experiences at other Cholita Linda, it was satisfying enough because the ingredients were fresh and the execution fine if you're looking for homestyle Mexican comfort food at a non-taqueria price point. The outdoor patio is great--dog-friendly, spacious, and equipped with heaters, which made it super comfortable even as the evening cooled down. The service was fantastic: friendly, attentive, and quick without feeling rushed. Now... the beer selection. WOW. I couldn't believe how many taps they had! I was honestly overwhelmed by the options (in the best way), so I went with the choose-your-own beer flight and tried five different brews. Highly recommend if you're indecisive like me or just want to explore. Food-wise, they've got plenty of vegetarian and meat options, which makes it easy for anyone to find something they'll love. I had a quesabirria and a carne asada taco, and both were absolutely delicious. We also split the fresh guacamole and chips, which tasted super fresh. My wife had an empanada and a taco, and she loved hers as well. Overall, it was a great dinner--laid-back vibe, awesome food, amazing beer, and great service. I can't wait to come back and try even more tacos (and more beers!).

The drinks were good, came out fairly quick. The food took a little longer, but still within a decent time range. They were a little bit busy when I ordered too. The service was okay; I felt that either the staff was having a bad day or they didn't want to work. I felt rushed by the staff and I felt that there was some annoyance lingering. I tried to not let it ruin my experience though. The ceviche was good. Had many flavors and there was a lot of it, but they only gave 3 large chips to eat with it, so I requested more. It was also spicier than expected, so if you can't handle spicy, let them know before ordering. It was perfect for me though. The tacos were good. The fish was thoroughly cooked and melted in your mouth, and it wasn't overpowering with any of the flavors and the toppings were great as well. I had an okay experience here because of the vibes I felt from the staff. The restaurant is also on the pricier side, so keep that in mind too if you plan to try more entrees!

The guac is a bit on the citrusy side with the lime, but I loved it! Will def come back especially as the weather gets warmer!
