The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable, ready to help. They have a great selection of school books and study books as well here, as well as a rich variety of books in Czech language, guide books, cook books, wine books, Art books, books on Prague, Moleskine notebooks, children books ... And they are hosting a good events with various writers and other VIPs. This is the shop I will not resist at all

Though the…read moreworkers don't really speak English they will try their hardest to find what you are looking for. In my case I was looking for lesser known piano works by Czech composers. I ended up with some etudes by Klement Slavicky, and some early lesser known works by Suk and Smetana. I was looking for some Moscheles, and one of the workers said he wasn't really Czech, but I beg to differ - he was born in Prague and lived there until he was 14! I recommend Talacko Music - if you like sheet music, it's a browser's paradise.
