Like your own little kitschy cottage house away from home, the cafe features brightly -coloured walls, open fireplaces and a gallery of original art by local artists. Lady Hawke does all day breakfast - $10 for a big brekkie and a beverage. The venue can also be hired out for events, including wedding receptions (my brother had his there). They decorated it beautifully, and without the usual trumped up cost.

Not necessarily a bad thing though! The menu is seasonal, so you'll have to have a look online for the most recent one. They try to use locally sourced ingredients, from farms and bakeries. The wait staff are fantastic, they really seem to care about your experience. If you have any problems, they are more than happy to help. I've been here multiple times and am never let down. It is more expensive than most other places around, but for what you get its worth it. I had a share platter recently and the choice was amazing. There was meat, dips and other yummies to choose from. Such a treat! We had two between four people and it was spot on. There's parking across the road, with a pedestrian crossing too.
