A very convenient Travel Center right off of I-84. Just follow the signs and you will get there. They have a few restaurants there to get a bite to eat and of course a restroom for those in need. The place is clean which is always a plus.

Randomly stumbled across this rest stop on our way home from Boston. I was very impressed that it not only had a gas station & convenient store, it also had a Dunkin Donuts, Burger King and a small restaurant. Plenty of options for anyone. I was most impressed with how clean the store and restrooms were. When we got there they had just finished cleaning them but you could tell they were very well taken care of and maintained. I wish more rest areas were like this one.

If you're headed toward Hartford on 84W, looking for a rest stop, and already in Connecticut, well it is your only option for one-stop shopping. Prices aren't great, but there's fuel for both regular customers and big rigs, a convenience store, plenty of car necessities (some in the convenience store, some back in a second area), two sets of bathrooms that are at or above rest stop standards, some games, a Dunkin Donuts, a Burger King, and a diner/restaurant. Additional amenities are available as well, though I assume only truckers utilize them (such as an itty bitty gym, several showers, laundromat, and lockers). Are the prices great? No. In fact the gas was some of the most expensive if not the most expensive around. But it's semi-convenient and easy to see the signs from the highway for non-locals and truckers and the immediately adjacent FedEx hub probably give them all the gas sales they need anyway. Should you stop by? Eh, maybe. Tired and need a place to stretch? Good for that. Gas? See above, but it isn't much cheaper off the other exits anyway, unless you're local enough to know where, and flexible enough to spend an extra few minutes ( GasBuddy helps). ...besides, is your time worth a couple extra bucks? TA wagers yes. Food? Eh. Maybe if you're a trucker and need a big parking spot, or just want mediocre fast food, donuts and coffee, gas station hotdogs or snack food.

This is the "Most Excellent Truck Stop" Quoted first by a 6 year old leaving, and again by our family each time. They have everything you could ever want! True trucker gear, plush toys, Christmas presents, books, novelty socks, dragon toys, food, showers, laundry, fitness room, 8 foot long phone charging cables fleece cargo shorts! You name it! The people who work here are amazing as well! Out Burger King order was hand delivered and they had the impossible burger so I could eat there. Off Ruby road, we will stop every time!

RESTAURANT LUNCH BUFFET ONLY So who goes to lunch here and pays $8.99 for the lunch buffet? A) Hungry truckers B) Budget minded UConn kids C) Senior citizens D) Pathetic Yelpers looking to review something different E) All of the above Not sure why, but I stopped here on my way to MA today. This is part of a gigantic truck-stop complex at exit 71 on Interstate 84. They have Dunkin Donuts, a nice store with truck supplies, amenities for the truckers, and the Country Pride Restaurant- the subject of my review. The $8.99 buffet offers quite a selection for the carb lovers out there. But let's start with the soups- 2 unidentified vats with no name and no label. One looked like corn chowder, I tried what looked like a vegetable beef (the broth tasted like beef) but there was no beef in it. The soup was OK, but a little watery. But Holy Mother of Carbs- this is what I saw on the buffet table: corn, mashed potatoes, white rice, white rice with red specks, fried rice with celery and carrots, spring rolls, pasta, boneless pork (or was it bacon) in teriyaki sauce. Whatever it was it was extremely fatty and non edible, some pretty good chicken in a sweet glaze, various pork, chicken and beef dishes, carrots, spinach, etc. The gold medal winner is without a doubt the most disgusting thing I have ever seen on a buffet line- a monstrous meat loaf sitting in a pool of grease that had to be 1/2 inch deep. Absolutely gag inducing. Want some gravy on that? You need a hammer and chisel to penetrate the gross layer of crust on top of the gravy tray. Urrpp.... I picked at some things and tried to leave with my self respect intact

It's not the worse truck stop/travel center in the world. They charged for bags at the store, which I guess happens more often now. The main restaurant was closed due to Covid-19. The choices were Dunkin or Burger King. The restroom was clean. Just was slim pickins for food variety.

The food at the Country Pirde has always been great. I visit there at least once a month if not more.

    Allens Mobile Auto Repair

Allen was a tremendous help today. I live in Massachusetts and was purchasing a used car in…read moreConnecticut. It was last minute, but I found some mechanics listed on yelp who said they did mobile repairs and reached out. Allen was a great communicator and his price was fair for a pre-purchase inspection. He arrived exactly when he said he would and walked me through a multi-point inspection of the vehicle. He explained what he was looking for and how he determined if there was a problem or not. After a thorough check of the physical car, we went for a test drive and Allen again helped me understand what any areas of concern might be as he was carefully assessing the vehicle. He helped me find a few issues that were relatively minor. At the end we reviewed the inspection and discussed what the market value for the vehicle might be. I was fortunate (lucky) to find Allen available on such sort notice and am glad that I chose him for my pre-purchase inspection. I'm not sure I would have felt as confident in my choice to purchase the vehicle without Allen's expertise.

A false review? When an individual is sent through yelp to your service center and you inquire to…read morethem about their vehicle and they inform you of the problem and you never respond back to them after they tell you what the problems are and they are waiting for response and you don't get back to them and then they need to find another shop......that is poor customer service......but I did see that you had the time to say it was a false review. That speaks volumes.
