Stop by this TA location often when passing though Madison on my way to Milledgeville. The gas prices here use to be the cheapest in the area, but the past few years they have been a few pennies higher than the Flash Foods across the street. The store inside is kept pretty clean. They have a good selection of convenience store items; as well as trucker truck stop supplies. You can even get some Georgia Bulldog great here like stickers, license plates, etc. Staff is usually pretty friendly; however there has been a not so friendly staff member every now and then. read more

do not come here! they will take forever to get any work done. i came in for a tire and there were a few people ahead of me. all good until i notice, open bays, and only TWO techs working. one tech who had a small beard and camo hat would go back and forth between sitting down outside or standing around in the bays but was not doing any work. there was another tech with long hair and a bandana who throughout my entire time there, sat up front and also did no work. does management not make these guys do anything and how are they still employed? i waited for 4 hours to get a tire put on, this was one of the worst experiences i have had at a TA. if i could give zero stars i would. steer clear from here!! read more

Just another crappy place to spend $17 for a shower with your back against the wall as the shower head will not point towards the floor enough and "VERY LOW" water pressure.. What are the managers doing here with the expense account money they get to keep the business running nicely. I have watched over the past 15 years as a trucker of how "All" TA's have drastically declined. I only use TA's and Petro's when in pinch for a sleep layover because of this. Soooo disappointed as usual. Someone needs to look into cleaning the ventilation as well. Not at all happy with the dust built up on the outside of the vent and the emergency light. First time in a long time I didn't have to mention the fan here. Normally the fans are caked with dust as well, this time the fan was reasonably clean. Came by here to wash the windshield from too many bugs on the road. They have extra long squeegees so I could clean it off without much effort. We were in and out quickly as their lot was clean and spacious. I didn't go inside but they are nicely decorated for the holidays. They have weigh scales and truck parking for big trucks and a large shop for service. read more

TA truck stop The incompetence I put in for a Dot inspection for my trailer on 5/3/22 at 17:30 and we were put into a bay at 01:30 on 5/4/22 we were advised that we had 3 wheels seals leaking but TA did not have all the parts so they would start in the morning but surprisingly they had now other trucks because since they did not have the parts they put trucks ahead of my work it's 24 hours later we are still in the shop horrible think before stopping here for repairs no good read more

They've shut down the family restaurant and are going to add an ihop. Boo! Our shower this time was disgusting! There was long black hair in the shower drain and pubic hairs on the toilet seat! Usually when we are there it's Michael who's attending this showers. Michael is great and we always tip him for cleaning up after us cause he deserves it! This time it was Chase and Chase needs to be fired! After bringing the wad of hair (in toilet paper cause I'm not touching that) to the manager she refunded our money but offered no apologies whatsoever. We won't be back! There are three other, better, cheaper truck stops at that same exit! TA has gone WAY downhill since corporate took it over! And their website! What a joke! Very busy Travel Center. Stopped to fuel up and use the restroom, of course. Very clean. Very nice stop. It is well lit. They have a big Popeyes in here--lots of semi trucks for sure. read more

Stuck here when my car broke down. The wee hour group very nice. The morning crew a bunch of jerks. Seemed the majority in this tiny town with rare exceptions. Hotels gouged to stay up overnight here, so made a fairly steady stream of purchases through the night and just tried to stay out of the way. Good thing I kept all my receipts since I got interrogated about my welch's gummies (really) while waiting for the mechanic to pick me up. Questioned about my situation, where I was from, where I was going, who was working on my car. I hope I never see this place again. Fyi, if I'm going to spend 6 bucks on vomit - inducing sandwiches and not complain about it, Im probably not going to steal a bag of candy under 2.bucks. read more

When my tire blew out on I-20 on the way to my niece's playoffs in Columbia,SC, I didn't know what I would do! Even though they're just for Tractor Trailers, the guys at the shop at TravelCenter were SOOOO wonderful. There's no way I could have put the spare on by myself (ps arthritis) and the tire was too flat to make it the few miles to Wal-Mart to buy a new tire & get serviced. The young men at the Travel Center volunteered to do it for me and then even offered to plug the hole in my tire for me. The manager, Jim, came out and supported them and was so nice to me and my old dog who was traveling with me. I know it was maybe 15 minutes out of their day, but it was a week's worth of wonderful to me, to have my problem solved so quickly and kindly. If I ever decide to take up a career driving an 18-wheeler, TravelCenters will be my exclusive providers of gas and maintenance!! Thank you, Jim Darden and all your staff!! read more

Restaurant has the worst service! Yasmeen I guess was her name, short, chubby black girl - she needs to be fired. About 4 people in the restaurant on a Sunday afternoon and 2-3 servers and I get the worst one. 5-7 minutes to be even recognized and finally drink order taken. Ordered Texas omelette - forgot salsa and had to ask few times for coffee creamer. Finished eating and sat there about 15 minutes while she walked by about 6 times and finally decided to ask if I needed anything. If you're going to be this slow and unhappy working here, just go on welfare like everyone else around here. Okay truck stop overall but the service at this Country Pride is the worst out of any TA/Petro. Will never comeback here - no wonder Pilot/ Flying J and Loves are getting more business. read more

This place is well lit at night. The entrance and exit I used is a bit odd. The pumps look new and pump quickly. The outside garbage cans were over flowing. The inside is well stocked and the bathroom I used was very clean. There was a variety of prepared foods available and gadgets galore. I took away a star because the trash cans were over flowing to the point we couldn't use them and because the gas was a few cents a gallon higher than I had seen down the road closer to augusta. read more

Do not ever come here for truck service or repair!!!!!! I can not stress this enough. The staff will not acknowledge you unless you're leaning against the counter and even then they have to call another shop to even check you in. I checked in I thought, at 3:55 pm and it's. Let 5:09 pm and no one has even come out to see if I'm in the bay. I went in three times to tell them I was here and they are just dragging their asses. My next step is to ask for the manager. read more
