Good experience overall! Workers were friendly and patient while I figured out what I wanted. Restaurant was clean and well lit, especially for a rainy day. The food came out really fast and the prices were fair and appropriate!!! Thank you!!!

My Basil Popcorn Chicken, which they forgot the BASIL. Very disappointed.

Ok food, mid on the service, and ok ambiance is how I rate T4. I came to this place after hearing a few colleagues rave about their Basil Fried Popcorn Chicken. So I had to come try it for myself. I get my order to go, I get home and there is NO BASIL in my Basil Fried Popcorn Chicken!!! How can you forget the MAIN ingredient that makes the dish?? I asked for Ranch sauce, did not receive it in the bag. I ordered Sweet Potato fries, and it was mid. I was deeply disappointed at the customer service, but what would I expect from a group of teenagers who are running the show. I was looking forward to trying many of the items on the menu that looked really good, but if it can't get a simple order right, and not do anything to fix it, I'm not coming back. I called to let them know my order was incorrect and they placed me on hold for 9 minutes. No more business for T4.

Stopped by Tea For U and really liked it! I only tried the boba and popcorn chicken, but both were super good. The boba was just the right amount of sweet and chewy, and the chicken was crispy, mouthwatering and flavorful. The vibe inside is really chill--clean, cozy, and a nice place to hang out. ( No bathroom ) Staff was friendly too. Definitely will be back for more chicken.

Today 7/23 i order my boba drink and got a metal shard in my cup! Thank is not ok. I will never order from this location again. That would have cause serious medical issue if i have ingested it! Unacceptable.

Brown Sugar Milk Tea with Pearl & Thai Milk Tea

The workers here are hella rude, don't even greet you ,or say thank you, or have a good day. BTW, This review is after multiple times of coming here... I've even told them "thank you" & "have a good day" & they don't even respond!! WTF?! Also the drinks are not even made good, & the boba is just alright. Definitely one of the least enjoyable T4 locations I've been to. Also, the inside of the restaurant looks terrible & the music is mid... Definitely not a good vibe. Don't come here unless you love rude people & mid drinks!

Expectation vs reality.

Came in expecting to have some good boba but was very unlucky. The boba was bland, they didnt have the brown sugar and top things off the pearls were not soft and chewy. Its like ordering hard boba that was topped off with milk. The pic is a side by side picc of the expection amd the reality of what you ordered.

I was there today. 2-25-24. They are open. They have new tables and a selfie wall as well as what appears to be an updated menu board.

I wasn't prepared for the chilly day in Davis. I changed my outfit several times before we left the…read morehouse. The weather report said 65 degrees and overcast today. I went from a thin top to a medium weight sweater. We arrived in Davis I grabbed my jacket to pair with my sweater. Today was a day spent exploring Davis to see the California Conference for the Advancement of Ceramic Arts (CCACA). What a great Conference. We come each year for this Conference and explore Davis every time we are here. After exploring the first building of the show it was coming on time to eat. We looked around the current shopping center and my husband didn't see anything he was craving. He said we'll go more into town and look for a noodle place. He said he remembered one from our last visit, down one of the alleys. Walking up the street we saw a couple of advertisements. A sandwich board was on the sidewalk for Davis Noodle CIty, the exact place we were looking for. The little Noodle Shop in the alley. We weaved through the other businesses, past the dumpling restaurant, past the outdoor seating and to the front door of the Davis Noodle City Restaurant. The out door seating looked really welcoming, but it was chilly out so we opted for eating inside with the other table that was occupied. There were 3 parties eating outside when we arrived. When we walked inside we were greeted and told to take any table. We choose a table in the corner. The menus were under the glass table top, keeping it clean and easy to read. Each place setting had its own copy of the menu. After looking at the menu, remembering what was offered on the sandwich board in front, and cross referencing it with Yelp Reviews we started ordering. We opted for the Five Spice Beef Noodles, and I asked if that was a good option and she said it was their top seller. The Yelp Reviews were only ok for that dish, but I took our chances. The second dish we ordered was the Dan Dan Noodles She tried to upscale us to the one with vegetables, but that dish was a cold dish so we when for the standard Dan Dan Noodles. Both dishes came out quickly. The Dan Dan noodles were not spicy as I anticipated, which was good, I wasn't really looking for spicy. I liked the flavor and realized that if you mixed it up there is a sauce on the bottom that is really tasty. Dan Dan Noodles ($8.25 a steal) is a solid dish and I highly reccomend it. It's a great bowlful of noodles. If you are hopping for other ingredients you are out of luck, it's 100% noodles with a sprinkling of peanuts on top and a sauce on the bottom. The Five Spice Beef Noodle Soup ($12.75)was as described in the reviews. It comes with American Broccoli and carrots. The beef is so good it melts in your mouth. The broth is minimal and lacked flavor. I'd think that it's advertised as Five Spice that it would have more flavor. I don't reccomend it if you are looking for a strong flavor. If you are looking for great meat, that melts in your mouth, but is also a little fatty then you have the perfect dish. Both dishes came with fresh noodles, none of those dried and rehydrated noodles that some places serve. The noodles on both dishes were different and pleasant. I highly reccomend their fresh noodles. Customer service was good. She came to check up on us and was pleasant. Parking is street parking. And they have a bathroom on site that is clean and well stocked.

I am usually a defender of these kinds of restaurants --- slightly below average rating due to poor…read moreservice is the mindset I try to approach them with. Unfortunately, this place has both bad service and food is not great. 2 stars for the price. Food (3/10) - I don't know how to describe it outside of the fact that it's just bland. I got the "Marco Polo noodles" which is just Chinese jia jiang mien. Let's start with the positives. I liked the noodle texture; it had a nice spring and were thick for a decent chew. Now, onto the bad. You could just tell that the noodles would be bland just by a look and smell. The smell of the bowl wasn't one of fragrant stir-fried pork but it actually smelled like starchy water. The sauce was super watery and had no flavor and I don't think there was even ground pork in the noodles. From what I could tell, it was some diced up mushroom and then black bean paste, without black bean flavor might I add. I had to add a GENEROUS amount of soy sauce and chili oil to make it taste decent. Honestly, I'd say it's pretty hard to mess up this dish as a whole and there's a lot of leeway on flavor but I have not tasted something that bland in a while. On the opposite end of the spectrum, we have the thai tea. This thing was so sweet that it was borderline undrinkable. I had to wait for the ice to melt in the drink before it was bearable and even then, it still left this residual sticky taste in my mouth. Also it's 4 dollars for canned thai tea; she grabbed it out the fridge. The only sort of saving grace of this restaurant is that it's relatively cheap. $12.50 for a good portion of noodles might convince me to go back(?) VERY BIG maybe though. I might want to try their soup noodles. Service (5/10) - It didn't really seem like she wanted me to be there. She kind of just sat behind the counter on her phone with an Airpod in the whole time. She was just on her phone the whole time and overall inattentive. When she was, she was just asking if I was ready to order (twice in the span of under 3-ish minutes). Ambiance (6/10) - Eh. It was just kinda weird. The lighting was dingy. Also didn't like how they left dirty tables around (clearly looked like they had been there for a while). Overall, probably wouldn't visit again. Might give it a second chance but food for price was pretty good. Unfortunately, bad food for good price is a no-go for me.

Food: 0/10 Drinks: 7/10…read moreBoba: 2/10 I really hate to do this to a T4 because generally speaking I think it's a great chain for Boba. They need to remove their food menu. We got their house chow mein waterlogged and very flavorless. Then we got The spicy wontons with some sort of mystery meat on the inside. We both spit up those because they were so disgusting huge waste of money. We were also informed that their food is very frozen when we asked for the orange chicken. Most of the food taste like it's been frozen. I'm the kind of person when I go to a restaurant I always eat my leftovers later. Nothing was worth keeping later cause it was all disgusting. We barely ate enough of the chow mein to make a satisfied because it was so gross. The female was snappy at everybody. The guy was fine. Their machine out front is horrible to use. It's frustrating and it keeps kicking you out of the item when you try to order.. It doesn't load fast enough so you can't see any of the images. It's absolutely terrible. Then to top it off when we tried to pay, it wouldn't let us it kept getting stuck over and over we had to actually ask them to ring us up through the register. Now for the Boba, we got the peppermint tea, which is fine and we got the taro milk tea, which is actually really really good. I would definitely come back for the drinks. Now the actual Boba itself is very hard and nasty clearly not freshly made. Keep that in mind when you order the Boba.
