When I walked in today the woman was surprised I was there and could not understand what service I was there for even though I pointed to it on the menu a few times. After finally getting on the same page I was brought to a room with multiple chairs. She put my feet in a bucket and then massaged my arms and hands but only used lotion on my right arm and not my left which I found very odd and actually a bit painful. When it was time for the foot massage, she spent a lot of time massaging BONEY PARTS of my feet and legs. She spent a lot of time on my KNEES which I had to tell her multiple times to stop because it really hurt. She spent time on my shins and the tops of my feet and individual toes... I literally cannot stress enough how much time she spent on my knees... After all of that she only spent about 7 minutes per foot and did not even touch my heels which was the biggest reason for going in. After this she told me to follow her to a room which I'm assuming was for the body massage. She led me to the room, pointed to the bed, shut the curtain and left. I had no direction of what to do, and I didn't see a blanket or gown to be dressed or covered in so I decided to just not go through with the body portion of the massage. I went up to the desk asked if I could tip on the card and after about 5 minutes she presents a higher price than the menu showed so I tipped 18% (to compensate for the price difference) said thanks and left. She looked at the receipt and stared me down as I was walking to the parking lot. I would NOT recommend this facility for any service at all. My feet still hurt and now my knees hurt too.

You also can't communicate with them at all anyways because of the language barrier but that was not my issue. My issue was the rushed session, the required amount of tip (a tip at any service place is always optional and up to the customer!) and then the literal rolling of eyes and annoyance when I didn't have exact change even though they did indeed have a change to give me. I waited until they took me to the room and I changed fast so the appointment wasn't late. The masseuse did not come for another 10 minutes. It is all visible in camera. She was really rough on my back. She also did not avoid my injury until I told her multiple times and still did not. Most of all, she was absolutely terrible, it felt uncomfortable. At the 50 minute mark, she said "we're done" and I said "we're done early?" and she knew she was too early. So she continued but terribly, picking up her phone which was obvious because she kept stopping and using one hand. Then just scratching my head. You may so, oh its a Chinese massage, I lived in Hong Kong for 12 years until this past August so I know what an Asia massage is, and this is not it. Friday night at 6:30 we went to the spa, kind of dejected and expecting disappointment. Well...WE COULD NOT HAVE BEEN MORE WRONG! Upon arrival, we were pleasantly greeted and directed to have a seat in a very comfortable waiting area. Within minutes we were taken to the massage room. The door opened into a clean and inviting area, where soft piano music and wonderful warmth filled the room. When we were ready, two ladies came in, and without any words just started working on us. As strong, yet gentle massaging began on my back, I began to relax. There was no chit-chatting going on between the women. They were completely focused on us. The only sound in the room was the peaceful music. Eventually some warm oil massage was done, and I think I felt a hot stone gliding up and down my back, which felt amazing! Hot towels were a nice surprise, too. In addition to massage, gentle stretching was directed to my back, arms and legs. I am 62, overweight, and out-of-shape, and yet I felt at ease as muscles I probably never use were being twisted and pulled and rubbed. I honestly felt like I was being worked on by a machine. I didn't feel hands or elbows pushing at me...everything felt like a smooth, warm roller gliding over my skin. The masseuse did not neglect my ankles or feet, and it all finally ended with a bit of attention and pressure to my forehead. A woman came out and I asked if I could wait until 4; after saying I made an appointment for 3:20, then 3:40 but was told both times she was wrong. She then placed me in a room and shut the door. I waited and no one ever showed up. As I was leaving the woman said "she didn't come? So sorry." Something really off about this place - I do not recommend.
