Unfortunately my experience with Lock & Roll ended badly
In April this year I had lost my one and only car key when looking online I came across Lock & Roll they were fairly priced and local which was great
Unfortunately my car wasn't as straight forward as Lock & Roll thought - I was without keys for 3 days and once we thought it was done when getting in my car my indicators didn't work, no clock on my screen and a error message saying my stabilisation was off and needs to go straight to BMW.
When contacting back Lock & Roll I was told it should clear in a day or 2 of which obviously I responded to say this needs to be done asap as my car isn't safe to drive.
Lock and Roll reattend and took the main board from my car back to his house and advised he needed to speak to some gurus as he hasn't come across this before he came back the following day with it and advised it was sorted.
Intermittently since then my windows have been going up and down by themselves or the buttons just not working, along with my radio screen coming on and off, freezing and now is completely dead.
Today I got back in contact with Lock and Roll and explained the above situation to see if there was any warranty on his work of which he relied ' Does the car start? does it drive? And is the remote central locking working?Key is fine.
I understand these sort of thing are trail and error however but the way I've been spoken to was not on at all.
There were numerous messages back and forth between us of which Lock & Roll have said it is nothing to do with them and is not related to their work, which is odd as the first time this happened he come back out to fix the problem.
Personally I would not use or recommend Lock & Roll, I am now left with a car which only half works don't get me wrong once this has been investigated now I'm taking it further and it turns out it's not down to the fault of Lock & Roll I will amend my review. read more
