I have insurance with them for my phone, but they said I didn't purchase the screen protector from them, bullshit! Asshat that was helping me decides to inspect my phone PRIOR to asking what phone, color, or storage selections I wanted. Nick ripped off my screen protector to do the inspection, shattering it in the process. After the inspection, it turns out the phone is not in stock. Okay, fine, just put a new protector on since I have lifetime warranty and I'll wait. Well, Asshat Nick is at it again... he ripped of my mom's screen protector and mine on both of our phones.... there's only one screen protector in stock. I have no issue with waiting for a replacement but would have appreciated not having mine ripped off before even checking if the phone I want is in stock. I was a Verizon customer for 35 years and even though we can put rockets into space once a month they were unable to fix my voicemail for 2 and 1/2 months on two separate phones and two separate phone lines. In this day and age you cannot live without voicemail. I looked on Yelp to see where the nearest T-Mobile was to my home and even though I had a few closer to me than this location I chose this one because of the great reviews I read. The first night I went Kris helped me but we could only go so far. I came back the next day and met up with Khalid who was fabulous. Verizon was holding me hostage as a customer to the very last minute and once Khalid got the necessary info from them it was all systems go. I was ticked off at them but Khalid kept his composure and was nice and calm. He was polite and competent and I left with new phone service and a pretty pink T-Mobile bag. The two people I dealt with were super nice and really competent and given the nightmare I had been through for more than 2 months with Verizon, I was really grateful to come upon them. I never right reviews for stores but Merida and Nick turned my experience completely around. I had a terrible experience switching from ATT to TMobile and updating my phone with Sunya. Sunya was very unprofessional and it was obvious she was in a rush and ready to go home. She dropped my new phone on the table and told me they had white when she upgraded me with a black phone. She apologized for it and continued with the other transactions. She tried to set up the Apple Watch but wasn't familiar. It was closing time and it was obvious she was ready to go home very antsy and wasn't helpful. She was trying to rush the transaction and told me the Apple Watch should be fine and it can be finished at home. This is where Merida and Nick changed my experience around. Merida overheard Sunya and stepped in to help solve the problem. She made me and my brother feel comfortable staying after closing hours to fix the watch problem and make sure it was working properly before sending us home. She was transferred through 6 different technical support people and was very patient and sweet. She even waived the Apple Watch fee and gave us all these TMobile merch from tmobile tuesdays that my brother mentioned he wish he could've made it in time to get. While Merida was looking for some of the merch Nick finished helping another customer and decided to come try and help with our transaction. Nick was obviously very experienced and when he took over, the process seemed almost easy. We realized Sunya really messed up the process and linked the wrong phone numbers to the wrong watches and it would've been a mess if I went home how she left me. Nick was very thorough and made sure my brother and my Apple watches were working perfectly with the data plan before having us leave the store and never made us feel rushed to leave even after 2 hours past closing. The shitty situation ended up being long but I still came out happy at the end of it because of Nick and Merida. They deserve to be recognized and their bosses should be proud to have them in their team. As for Sunya, she needs to work on her customer service. I would give Sunya 1 star but I'm rating this T-Mobile 5 stars solely because of Merida and Nick. Thanks guys. We really appreciate you. read more

So I get my wife a new phone for Christmas. Knowing she didn't want one, I was reluctant but still in need of a present. The salesman closed the deal when he assured me there would be no restocking fee if we do not open it. Well sure enough my wife didn't want it and we go back to return it....unopened. I explain that it was a gift and I was returning it and he calls the manager over and they discuss it amongst themselves and come back with "Yeah you'll have to pay a restocking fee". I tell him that's not what my salesman told.me which he (the manager) abruptly cuts me off and says it's on the box and on your receipt. Quite arrogant in his tone, flippant to the fact that his salespeople are misleading people to close their sales and walks away.... At this point I grab a pen that's on the desk and start to open the box. Might as well if they are charging me for it right? Hell, lets see what it is i paid to return! The guy taking my return asks "what are you doing" to which I reply "opening the box". At this point, with my 9 year old standing next to me, he snatches the pen from my hand and continues to go about his typing as if nothing happened. I ask "you don't want me to use your pen?" He replies simply "no" and continues to process my return. So I grabbed a cc from my wallet, broke the seal and handed it over to him. I was never disputing what their policies are. Whether they charge for unopened returns or not...my issue is being lied to by their sales rep and immediately being cut off and hit with "it's on your receipt and box" when attempting to explain what had transpired. I came into this store to buy a phone and my account got suspended, so they told me to come back with some things verifying my identification, and my service would be back on within 5 minutes.... Well i waited there for 2 and a half hours and nothing was fixed. Then a worker named Sunya was arguing with the guy on the other line, which made my situation even worse. I got my lost protector iPhone replacement. I had the screen protection with lifetime protection that I paid about $50 for. I called in ti make sure then have the screen protector. I told them my situation of having the new replacement iPhone sent to me. She said come in. Normally they require the broken one but since it's replacement they said they will waive that requirement as courtesy. I drove 4 miles and when I got there she said she'll need the old screen protector. So I told her about the call I made. She was adamant and a little combative and pulled out the policy. I went to another T Mobile store. They were so nice and gladly replaced it. I'm not mentioning this store cuz I don't want them to get the heat for being courteous and customer centric. After I purchased a USB lightening cable but couldn't find where the built-in was cz I was driving a 2022 Lexus ES350 loaner car but my own Lexus was older model, so Dan was extremely helpful, after he found out what happened, he came out from the store to my car, luckily I parked in front of the store, and he found it right away... really a true life saver!! read more

Went in on 9/2014 looking to switch to T-Mobile from verizon. The associate who helped me was a smooth talker, insisting that i dont leave before i switch to t-mobile first, saying that the trade-in value can drop dramatically within days , (which still hasnt changed in months). So long story short, i switched to t-mobile, trading in my brand new iphone 5s for a note 4. The associate helping me assured me that the ETF fee will be handled with, he made me feel out forms and even get a copy of my final bill, this took multiple trips to Verizon and t-mobile. Long story short again, HE NEVER FILED THE ETF CLAIM, so im sitting here 4 months after the transfer still waiting for T-Mobile to pay verizon the ETF fee. These guys over here are bunch of hustler and scammers only working for the commission, they will talk you in to buying things you don't need (somehow i walked out with a JBL speaker cause they told me i needed to purchase something over 100$ or something to be up gradable) And about the ETF fee well, i went online and did it my self 2 weeks ago, and the check should be mailed to me soon. You're in there for a minimum of one hour, dealing with sales people and basically counting down the seconds till you can leave with your new gadget. To make your next experience at T-Mobile less lame, go to this location during midday hours on weekday! I was in need of a new cell phone and skeptical if I could get the deal done within my one hour lunch break. To my delight, I walked into an empty T-Mobile store! Got the exact phone I wanted and was out of there in 20 minutes. The complaint I have is that the person helping me out did not explain that he was adding a $4/month insurance charge onto my monthly bill when activating my new phone. They have to re-train their coworkers. I updated 3phones, this girl who helped me gave us FREE phone cases, and screen protectors. I even repeated "free?" Because i was surprised, but thinking maybe its their gift or something.(bcs I've been to other phone stores and they gave out free cases as a gift) But obviously it wasn't because when i received my bill the installment plan was added?! So i went back to store after i spoke to customer service on the phone. I explained the situations, and this manager told me "that can't be true we never supposed to say a word FREE" wow... then you think i am lying to you? Why would I buy three set of 39.99 screen protector, 39.99 phone case when i can buy much cheaper in amazon?! I took them bcs YOUR coworker said it was free! What was even annoyed? This manager Christina didn't even apologized. She said "i don't know why you make the situation difficult, Im trying to fix the problem so i am asking you to bring the phone cases and the screen protectors (which were already installed when we upgraded our phones in the store) back to me and i will remove your monthly installment plan" You call this a fix? Why do i have to go through this situations when your coworker messed everything up? I've honestly never left a Yelp review before, but I need to do it so that no one ever has to go through what my family and I went through the other day. I wish I could give zero stars for this. In total, I've spent over SIX hours at this location (4 hours the first time, 2+ hours the second time) because the staff here failed to do their job. I walked in with a working iPhone 6s that I've had for two years with ATT, but by the end of the first day I was there, my phone was broken by the staff. How you ask? Well, I guess I'll never 100% know till this day but I walked out of the store with my phone unable to read ANY sim cards. They completely failed to admit fault and even had the audacity to blame it on me + told me to take it to ATT to see if they could fix it. My utter frustration led to some tears but the staff again, failed to show any sympathy and threatened to kick me and my other family member out of the store -- even though we never once started yelling or "made a scene" like one might imagine. I am completely disappointed by how the staff and the managers handled this situation. AVOID THIS LOCATION AT ALL COST. I'm generally a patient and understanding person, but waiting 4+ hours to have my phone broken and getting blamed for it is something I don't even wish upon my worst enemy. He mentioned to me a great promo t-mobile had going on, get 2 lines for 100$. & Originally my boyfriend & I were going to join lines together but since he's still with att he has to get his cancelation fee and so forth. I understand that this location gets busy after 5:00 during the weekdays so I waited a bit since the rep started to take down names, he got the lady sitting near me but then he totally walked away and then made eye contact with me and then didn't even bother to get my name in and started to get into helping someone else! I left. If this location has quite a few customers waiting around, I would recommend tying the Del Amo mall location instead (although beware apparently that location doesn't have a manager during most evenings so if something is wrong they can't help you either) So much time wasted today... read more

After putting it off for days, I came into this branch. Young was the associate who helped me. He listened to what I needed to get done and worked quickly and efficiently to make it happen, even suggesting other changes that might be helpful to my particular situation. He was courteous and engaging while getting his work done, and I left in under 15 minutes, oddly surprised at how easy it all was. No Stars, I am a T-Mobile customer of more than 12 years. Unfortunately I bought a T-Mobile Alcatel Go Flip. I have had 30+ contacts with T-Mobile store associates, T-Mobile techs and contacted The President of T-Mobile's office on four occasions for the SAME EXACT PROBLEM. Most of my calls go STRAIGHT TO VOICEMAIL??? and no one can figure it out. I was told today, "We have checked your phone many times," and told they can't figure it out, GO AWAY!! These people are rude, (Associates and the office of the President, Rude and dismissive) the techs are great, (Filipinas, not Americans,) but they couldn't figure it out, on 6 or 7 attempts) and T-Mobile will not take responsibility for their terrible service and products. Four to five hour wait for techs. 20 people changed my settings and told me, "Looks good," and NEVER solved the problem. I spent 35 minutes with a courteous T-Mobile rep. trying to figure out why the review site has no "SEND" button?????? He connected me to somebody that picked up the phone transfer for another 20 minutes. I visited this location on March 15th I am a 20yr old student!! And I have yet to open any credit card accounts.. I came into the store looking to join a new phone plain and update my phone but be able to pay it off in portions. When I came into the store I spoke with a worker named "Alexander" a young white fellow with short hair. Never have I felt more disrespected he was very sarcastic and unclear. He took my id and told me that I'm unable to purchase a phone because my credit score is "really really bad" and withheld the actual score from me... I told told him I don't even have any credit card accounts.. he then told me that I'm a "victim of identity theft" so naturally I freaked out.. he told me to file a police report ASAP. Weeks later I received a letter from t mobile saying I had insignificant credit!! But on the other side of the letter it stated my credit score was "222" which is IMPOSSIBLE... A month later I finally received my credit score in the mail and it is "ZERO" what is should be. considering I have never opened a credit card account. This idiot had me worried sick for nothing. I had an awesome experience at this location. The guy who helped me was named Fred. He helped me with switching my family plan over from another competitor. He answered all my questions and made the difficult transition a smooth one. Even though the process was lengthy, Fred did an excellent and thorough job. I waited a while to write this review to see if their were any hidden fees and everything was as it should be. Got a call at 7:10 PM from my son saying he had fallen at work and landed on his LG G2 in his back pocket. As he is on our family account I needed to be with him to make any changes to the account. I told him to meet me at the T-mobile store at Crenshaw & Sepulveda. I arrived before him at 7:35PM and saw that the store closed at 8. I was expecting to get a 25 minute run-around and be told to come back tomorrow. To my great surprise, this is what happened. As soon as I walked through the door I was greeted by Anne with a big smile and the statement, "How can I be of service to your sir?" And she proceed to walk me through the jump program for a new phone for my son. She even had me call him on his way over to get specific info needed to complete the transaction. When my son arrived there was only a few more steps and the whole process was completed by 8:05PM and we were out the door with my sons new LG G3. Great customer service Anne! I even asked for the manager, Jeff, and told him what a great job Anne had done. She gave 5 Star+ service.
