Cable TV is terrible. It has redundant and useless tech controls on how you can watch shows. You can't pause a program then fast-forward without it going back to the beginning of the show. Each time you try to fast-forward, it goes back to the beginning again. Also each time a program goes off you have to click on another screen saying you want to continue to watch that channel.

The buttons on the remote are confusing and hard to identify, the OK or Enter key isn't marked. If you hit some of the keys, it takes you to weird screens so you have to hit home and start all over. The fast forward won't work when you first start a recording sometimes it takes 5 minutes to work. The installer said the remote didn't have to have "line of sight" to the cable box to work - good luck getting that to happen, even with new batteries. It is the most aggravating system I've ever tried.

Since it was the weekend their phone support automated system said, only if you are experiencing an outage would I get their on-call person. Long story short, within an hour of calling I had a new cable box and the guy that came to the house programmed the remote to work with my tv and audio receiver correctly. A+ support.
