The bathrooms are in the right places. There are bars within convenient reach for most of the arena. It's just smart. Acoustics and lights were good, show was really good. So the 013 is mostly GA standing only, but the back of the room does have a series of raised "step" type platforms ... that offer an option for sitting down or at least having a place to sit down if you'd like to alternate sitting and standing. Being in the back of the room, it's also a little more chill than the rail. The venue also has a balcony upstairs but you pretty much need to get up there and hold your spot for the whole show if you're doing that. The venue also has those cool locker systems that we've only encountered in Europe. For my American friends: You scan the QR code posted around the lockers or use the pin pad terminal to rent a locker. Then you get to set a code and the machine tells you which locker will now be yours and then you go off and use your code to lock and unlock the locker for the night. Very slick. I chose to hang in the back on the riser area. It was great because there is a bar right back there and toilets right near the bar. So you never have to go too far for anything. The view is pretty good, especially for us shorties. I don't know why all men in Europe are like 7' tall but they are all giraffes. I also discovered a secret spot that I don't mind sharing since I probably won't be back to this venue any time soon... on each side of the riser area, there's a big beam that comes down vertically along the wall. If you position yourself right in front of that beam, there's a little ledge formed where you can either stand and put your back up against the beam for support or sit and basically have a backrest. Best seat in the house. Staff was really friendly and the crowd was also really friendly. We'd definitely come back.

So myself and a couple members of my team from work decided to go out for a few pints with a few of…read morethe lads from Business Development. We went to a few cafes around the city and eventually made our way to Studio about midnight. As our group was entering Studio the bouncer stopped one of us and told him he could not go in because he was not a 'regular'. Now, none of us are Dutch and we are all new to the city so none of us were 'regulars'. Why did my friend stand out? He was the only black man in the group. Apparently 'not a regular' is code for 'no blacks allowed'. I asked why none of the rest of us were told we were not regulars and the bouncer refused to speak to us and just kept saying 'he is not getting in, he is not a regular. What makes it even worse is my friend does not drink, not even a little, and was stone sober ferrying us around the city and they tell him he is not allowed in. I have heard stories about incidents like this in places, but never thought I would experience it first hand and actually see something as horribly disgusting and racist first hand, up close. It is even more appalling when its blatantly obvious. Needless to say there is a fine Irish pub literally across the street where everyone is welcome so we went there and had a brilliant evening. So steer clear of this place, unless you are the goosestepping type.

Here is my take on The Grass Company in 2022. 1st of all, if you are looking for a coffee shop in the Netherlands, it's a rare occasion you are going to find one where people are not smoking cannabis or marijuana. Most coffee shops are where customers gather to buy and smoke marijuana so if you truly want some coffee, stop by a cafe. Back to the review. As soon as my friends and I entered we had to show ID which was super common in most coffeeshops and the "bouncer" was super nice and let us in with no trouble. We ordered some nachos and a canna- shake with a few other apps which all tasted amazing. I was super surprised with the prices of the joints and was surprised how strong the thc was. I am not a regular smoker but the ambiance and the energy of the grass company made the experience nice. They also have a lot of different card games which kept my friends and I entertained for a good amount of time and did I mention they also sell cannabis in pre rolled joints and "grass" you can roll yourself. The canna shake was actually the most delicious thing ever and although it wasn't that strong it and cost more than 2 joints lol, it was still great to have as a drink on the side. The only issue I have was the fact that the bathroom was upstairs and I am not sure about other people but when I am high, I don't like to do a lot of work and walking up the stairs was just a little too much for me unfortunately . Anywho if you are in Tilburg and looking for a chill place to smoke and have some food check this place out!

This is one of Tilburgs' Rookkaffees or 'coffee shops' as many people call them. They have a…read moredecent selection of things to smoke here, but the prices are not as good as you will find at some of the shops not located right in the heart of the city. They are dead handy to get to as they are right across from Central Station, so you can get a bus or train from anywhere and find this place without issue. For a coffee shop they also do a decent bit of food as well sure. One thing to note though, due to the ongoing battle with the current government (at least at the time of writing this) you can not even enter the premises without a Dutch driving license or official Dutch residents form, so tourists forget about it.

This is constantly rated by those who live in Tilburg as the best coffeeshop in the city. I have…read morebeen here a few times now and I must say they have a great selection for the best prices and the quality you get is very good. Alas though, at the time of writing this the government is battling coffeeshops so anyone without a Dutch ID or registration form will not be allowed inside.
